I'm not sure if there's currently a way to search for everything on the site that's under $20, or has a five star rating, or is made of silicone, as examples, but if there isn't, that could be useful. Also, why are glass and steel toys separate from other dildos--is it a brand thing? Is there an easy way to look for all glass toys under $50, for example, or does one have to go through each sub-categories to see?
Cross-category searches?

1. On the cross-site searching. Very useful functionality and we're working on it.
2. On the glass and steel categories: we separated them on the reason that the products are distinctively different. A few years ago there were no glass dildos beside Phallix's. Those were (and are) very expensive peaces of art. Moreover, they have items that are hardly dildos like Dildo-guns link or link and they also sort of own a term “Pyrex” for the glass dildo materials. (I’ve heard they are still in courts fighting it).
Since then however, many glass sex toy manufacturers emerged. They offer reasonably priced inexpensive and high quality items. I agree with you that at this point, there is no need for keeping categories separate.
3. On the filtering a glass/steel categories. Because those are “old” categories, we haven’t brought relatively new filtering/ search functionalities into them. The truth be said, we are not going to just because it is obvious now that the categories themselves have to be merged with the dildos. The only help you can get now with searching in those categories is “Sorting”. You still need to visit every sub-category and inside it you can sort the products a few useful parameters, including Price.
Thank you and keep in touch.
