Do you update your wishlists?

Contributor: evie.amor evie.amor
Do you delete products from your wishlist after you purchase them?

Or do you move them to a "retired" wishlist category? If you keep them in a different wishlist category, how come?

It gets moved to one of two separate lists. I've got a "purchased" list just so I can keep track of the toys I've gotten. If it's a consumable item (like lube, toy cleaner, etc.) I move it to a "replacements" list. I'll also put toys on the "replacements" list if they break or something else happens to them. That way I have it in a convenient place if I want to get another one someday.

I'm very organized with my wishlists, I just move bought things to their own list.

I do delete something from the list once I buy it. I don't keep a list for bought items (I use the receipts/past order sections for that).

I remove items once I purchase them so it doesn't clutter my list. I also go through periodically and remove things that I changed my mind about.

If it's something I only need to buy once, I'll delete it once I buy it. If it's lube, toy cleaner, body care, etc., I wait until I get it, and if I don't like it, I delete it, while if I do like it, I keep it on the list so I can get it again when I need it. I also constantly delete discontinued items, so that they're not clogging up the list and items that are still available are easily purchased.

I keep a list of wishlisted itmes I've bought because I keep forgetting to add the wishlisted item directly to the cart. That way if I want to gift a product to a friend or refer to items I have yet to do, I can look at them that way.

Apparently if you add a product from the wishlist to your cart (then complete the buying process), it'll have some sort of display in the wishlist that shows it was bought.

I don't really care about having a list of things I bought. I know what I bought so I don't need that. I just delete them. I also go through and delete things that are discontinued or that I am no longer interested in.

I was deleting things that were discontinued & then I discovered some of them actually come back -- what a pain!

sktb007 recommended I start a separate list for discontinued/out of stock items so I can quickly see if something has come back. I thought it was a good idea & just wanted to pass it on.

I have two, one for items I've purchased and those I.m interested in purchasing even if their out of stock. I find you can get discounts/% off some items when others are no longer in stock. I also check my want to have list daily for those items that are back in stock in case I miss it in my many emails. And then there are those things I no longer want I delete to keep my list manageable,
