When buying Lingerie, do you shop with a specific color in mind?

Do you stick to a specific color or few colors for your lingerie, or do you find a piece you like and then find a color that works for you in that piece?

I don't migrate towards a color so much as I stay away from a color. I hate the way I look in red so I will stay far away from it. It doesn't matter how much I like the piece if that's the only color it comes in I'll pass it up. I like to have as much variety in the colors of my lingerie as I do in my daily wardrobe. Sometimes something will just scream out you need me but usually if the last few I've bought were blue I'll attempt to find another color.

I choose items I like--then go with the colors available. there are times when I do not order due to the color, though.

She has a few white peices, so I stick with white.

Not usually. I start out with my size, and then go to what looks best for my body type. The last thing I sort out are the colors.

I hardly ever have a set color in mind, but I do always know what colors I prefer and find the most beautiful. I like bright, bold and colorful or something.

I'd say the color is often as important, or nearly as important, as the style. The color actually changes the style, in a way--a given piece can look dramatic and sultry in black, but sweet and innocent in baby blue or pink. So, if I don't like any of the colors, I won't buy it, no matter how great the style is. On the other hand, a gorgeous color can turn an otherwise unexciting item into a must-have. For example, the Pleated Babydoll by Dreamgirl: it looks rather plain in the black and pale pink colors, but in plum it is simply stunning. (Why on earth did EF discontinue that just when I wanted to buy it? I had to order it through Amazon instead.)

I usually order pink or black but I have been branching out and getting other colors like red, green, blue and several other colors.

I love my wife in color but it is hard to find something besides pink and black. I am glad to see EF recently added some Coquette items in Teal.

I'm completely flexible on color, and far more interested in style and size than the color of something. There aren't many colors that don't flatter my skin, and most of the ones that do are very, very rarely found in lingerie.

I just want to find corsets or bustiers I can wear in public.

I generally like pink lingerie, but I'll get things in other colors too. Baby blue and red are also very sexy.

I don't have a tendency toward any color in lingerie, not really. If something is pretty, I get it.
