Should EF carry sexy heels?

I love to wear heels to bed and I'm quite surprised EF doesn't carry heels in their vast assortment of products. May be a long shot but if enough people request this, could EF do something about it? I'd love to see heels grace our site.

I'm with you in that I'd love to see heels here, but realistically I think it would be a total nightmare to make happen. First there's one specific shoe, then there's 20 pairs in each size, not all of them will get sold, some will get returned, etc. It'd be totally awesome, but I understand why they haven't yet.

much as I love wearing sky high heels I don't think I would buy costume shoes online, even if I didn't intend to walk in them.

I agree with Sam; shoes are such a pain. You have all these different shoe manufacturers, and all shoes fit differently; even if it's the same manufacturer, a stiletto fits differently than a mary jane or a peep-toe. My shoe size varies 3 sizes, depending on the shoe type.

So for each shoe you have at least 15 sizes (5-11.5) plus alllll the returns that happen when a shoe pinches/slips/is too big/is too small/is too clunky/is too heavy/etc. Even if you just have 5 pairs per shoe, that's 75 pairs of shoes... and that's just ONE style of shoe. Imagine if they had 10 styles... That's 750 pairs of shoes. Imagine the warehouse space you'd need!

I'm happy to buy my shoes elsewhere, even though it would be nice to see it on EF.

I agree!! The inventory would have to be unbelievably large.

I don't wear heels to bed but they could be great for..other things.

I would love to see some shoe options to compliment the lingerie and costume selection! If they were to stock say only whole sizes 5-10, it would accommodate most sizes without having a ton of each style.

I guess EF could but I don't buy shoes online because it's too hard to figure out the right size and I loathe making returns. I think it's doable but I wouldn't use it.

I don't see it happening. I would imagine that it would require too much inventory and shoes are hard to buy without trying them on.

Shoes are great, but I don't like buying them online. I just hate having to make returns and wait for the new size to arrive. And I'm sure it would be a nightmare to deal with on EF's end of things.

Personally, shoes are an item I want to try on before I buy them - it's far too easy to buy an uncomfortable pair of shoes so I wouldn't buy any on here.

I put other because I'm indifferent. I probably wouldn't buy them because I can't really walk in high heels to begin with, but if there were enough people interested I wouldn't be bothered by eden selling heels.

Having worked in a call center for a web company which carried high heels as a product, I can testify it can be a bit of a nightmare. The shoes will likely be drop shipped from a third party vendor. The real shade of the shoes will likely be different, either lighter or darker (sometimes a different color entirely), than what is depicted on the site. This is caused by differences in monitor settings and user settings versus the natural light reflection of the pigment and material.

The end result is a large selection of black and white plastic, matte and patent leather, or other simplistic design. It's really not a worthwhile investment as far as the labor hours required by customer service to support the product.

I voted other... I would love shoes, and I think there IS a way for EF to manage it, but I understand they think it's too much of a hassle at the moment.

I mean, there is the shoe and then there are the sizes for each shoe... While you can certainly narrow down and only stock the most common shoe size, but they would get a million more e-mails and forum posts about how they don't carry half-sizes or really small sizes or larger sizes, etc.


Someone above posted about color being off, but that happens with our toys already and some of the lingerie. That's where the reviews come in handy!
