I am one of those people that will buy a kit, even if there are a few products that I don't want that is in it. I love getting "more for my money" and trying new things. When I seen the Tenderness kit from shunga, I knew that I had to have it! Even though there are a few items in it that I wasn't really interested in. I found that when I got the products here, checked them out, they weren't so bad! The three items that I really wanted were awesome, and the massage oil that I didn't really "need' is still going to be pretty useful.

When you shop, do you prefer to get a full kit (even if there is an item or two you don't really want/need/interested in) rather than getting the individual items? How do you shop for these types of things?

It depends...but if it's cheaper for me to buy only the items I want individually then I do that

I hardly ever buy kits cause most of the time I find that the number of things I don't want outnumber those that I do.
03/17/2012
Honestly, it really depends on the kit. If the items I really want outweigh the unnecessary ones I am all over it, however, if it is the other way around....forget it.

Gosh, I LOVE kits! I'm such a stickler for kits, it's terrible sometimes.
03/17/2012
I usually buy items individually. Most kits contain more items I'm not interested in than ones that I am. If there's a kit that contains many items I want, then I'm all over it.

i buy individually

it depends on the kit but most of the time I like to buy the individual toys.

I try to stay away from the kits, unless everything in the kit is things I wanted.

So far I've only bought individual.

I like kits to try different flavours/scents of a product.
03/17/2012
I've never really gotten a kit, I just buy what I need.

Only if the kits are not full of the Company's junk. I think that this is the way they get rid of product they cannot sell individually.

Even if it looks like a bargain, I don't want a selection of stuff I won't really use.
03/17/2012
I like the kit, especially if it is a bargain. I also like matching things.

It all depends on what other items are in a kit. There may be something that I would not use right a way but maybe later on down the road. I like to experiment so a kit would be more logical in some cases

Depends on the items in the kit.

A lot of the kits are good for beginners but lack real quality so I tend to shoot for each item on its own.

I like kits (w/r/t bath and body stuff) because I'm kind of a child and I get excited to have lots of little things to play with. Hah.
If I'm being responsible, I'll buy just what I need.

I think it would depend on the situation and kit. If I knew I would USE all the items in the kit and IF it was more cost effective in the long run to buy the kit I would do it that way. IF I wasn't going to use half the items in the kit, I'd just buy the 1-2 items that I was interested in. I'm a very practical person and try to get things that I need.

Depends on the kit. If I want the majority of the items included, then I may as well get the kit. If not, then I'll get the ones I want individually.

I buy as I desire objects. There is no sense buying what I might not require or cannot think of someone to give something too.

It depends on the item/kit.

I tend to just get the individuals. I am cheap
03/19/2012
I love kits but I rarely buy them. It really depends on what is in it and if I think that all of the items are at least worth it.
03/21/2012
Depends.

In my opine, kits sacrifice quality for quantity most of the time.

I like kits so I can try out some of the products.

Is it cheaper to buy a kit that has an item or two that you don't really want/need in it, or do you think its cheaper to pay a little extra each time that you buy individual products, because you're only getting what you need and not random other products?

I will usually go through and actually do the math. I have found that in a lot of the kits, they give you smaller bottle than if you were to buy the actual item. So I evaluate each one individually to see what gets me the best deal!
03/17/2012
If you won't use it, then it isn't cheaper- but if there is a chance you would use and like the other items if you tried them, then I say go for it.
03/17/2012
I'm with Indiglo, I calculate the costs of the individual items in the kit and see if it's cheaper to buy a kit or if its cheaper to buy the products individually.
