I always use a code when I have items that are not on sale or aren't buyouts. So almost every order.

Absolutely I use partner codes. I was wondering why it sometimes would make the total price go up, but that was explained to me already.

I only use them when spending actual cash. To me it just seems wrong to add a discount when using points as well. I understand that it is fine to do but still, we get so many perks as it is.

I never bothered about getting my own code. I typically wait for a sale or coupon, but when I get impatient for a toy, I use someone else's code. What I do is look for a review that helped me make my final decision, then check their profile and see if they have one listed. If not I have a couple of friends who have their codes posted so I will use one of theirs.
