#AskEden - How often does this site refill their stock?

Contributor: Kenneth Fort Kenneth Fort
Just wondering. Since there were some things I saw that were out of stock, and I was wondering whether it'd be better to wait, since I have some gift card points, or just go somewhere else. Not that I'm impatient, but... I kind of am.

It depends on the item, they get shipments several times a week. If there is something specific that you are waiting for, you can open a support ticket and ask when it will be back in stock and they can usually give you an idea of when it will be back.

It depends on the available stock from the manufacturer. You can set an alert on the product page, or submit a support ticket. We have added ETA dates on most product pages, so keep an eye out for those.

It depends from item to item. Some products I've been waiting for months to return... I don't know how set the ETA dates are because yesterday it was saying the Before and After Cleaner would be back in stock today, Sept. 18. : /

It all depends on the item. Some come more frequently then others it seems.

The dates are estimations, not promises.

I understand that, but it would better to not have them since we already have the alert system : /

I disagree. In my opinion an estimate is better than nothing, but it's still only an estimate. Only time will tell how accurate EF's predictions will be, but in the meantime you can just set an alert and not pay attention to the exact date. At least you know it's planned to be here this month, instead of a 2 month wait.

I believe the estimations are from the suppliers, not us. What a lot of people don't know is that all toys aren't produced every single day. There's a production rotation. Just like with cereals and stuff. Sure Fruity Pebbles and Cocoa Pebbles are on the same factory line but they aren't being produced at the same time. There's a change over that has to happen and this is based on demand. Same thing goes with sex toys.

Now I'm picturing Fruity Pebbles with a cherry dong in the bottom of the box...thanks.

I don't agree that it'd be better not to have estimated arrival dates. Recently, I was going about selecting items for a large order. Several of the items that I wanted were out of stock, and only some had estimated arrival dates. The ones that had arrival dates were great, because I could then decide if I wanted to wait for another week for the item to (hopefully) be back in stock, or if I wanted to order something else.
