I started out having three wishlists: One big one that had everything I liked, one short one called "prioritizing" that usually contains only what's going in my next card, and one "lust over" list of expensive items to look forward to.
But as time went on, I added a list just for books, and others for other categories, and somewhere along the line I wound up with other "think about it" wishlists. Now I just have a big jumble, and it's hard to remember what I was thinking.
I want to update my system, so I'm curious to know---how do your organize your wishlist? By your feelings? By item type? Do you like your system, or not so much? Tell me about it!

My system is a little weird. I have a "Random" wishlist that I'll put things into, and then I'll go back, read some reviews, and see if I really do want it. If I do, then I'll sort it into another wishlist. I have wishlists for different item types, such as BDSM, anal toys, books, glass, vibes, my big main wishlist, which is linked on my profile, and wishlists for orders I intend to make soon. Like right now, I have one titled "Naughty Christmas" - things I intend to order to spice up mine and my boyfriend's winter break! No, there are no sexy Santa's helper costumes.
