Giftwrapping Option

Contributor: Kayla Kayla
OMG! I rarely start discussions on the forums 'cause I'm totally boring, but I was surfing the site today and found out that you can opt in for gift wrapping on a bunch of different products.

Just thought I'd let people know since I, personally, now added some of those just to my wishlist because I'm in love with unwrapping presents. It's like as awesome as the toy itself.

Anyone else hoping to get some of their presents giftwrapped in some of EF's awesome wrapping paper choices?

LOL, well I would love to have some gift wrapped for Christmas....BUT I am kind of afraid to even look through the list because I just finally decided on what to order in my next order..and now I'm afraid that it's going to make my decision even harder!

Would be awesome if it was a regular option, for birthdays, anniversaries, and things of that nature.

I know. It's totally fun to open wrapped presents. I'm actually really excited to see how some of the Eden Staff wraps too.

Wow, I really like the gift wrap options they're offering, especially the purple one.

This could actually be useful in people's discretion strategies. If a nosy parent opens your mail, it'll look like a gift from someone, and provided they aren't rude enough to actually open the gift, you're saved! (Of course if they do open the gift, it could mean even more trouble. Hmmm.)

I so hadn't even thought of that. Great insight. Now those who are worried can buy without so much fear. I wonder if EF will keep some sort of gift-wrapping option for the rest of the year now?

I saw gift-wrapping available back in September when I was shopping for my sister's birthday presents. I had totally meant to get hers gift-wrapped, but I'm so used to just placing orders for myself that I completely forgot to get that done

That is just ingenious & insightful toy geek, I echo Mistress Kay in hoping that it's a feature that I hope Eden might be able to continue throughout the year

Has anyone actually received something that has been gift wrapped? I'm curious because I added it to my cart and I couldn't pick a specific product that it was for. It kinda just added like any other product. I'm wondering if something actually comes wrapped or if the gift wrap stuff is included for you to wrap yourself. I was planning on sending my sister her xmas present tomorrow, so I need to know.

I just ordered one, Emily and it came in the mail. I'm sad to report that, although I had set three different products for gift-wrapping, the entire box just came giftwrapped, so I had to re-wrap my presents myself. The only way this seems like the giftwrapping will be useful is if you only order the one item you want giftwrapped.

It comes giftwrapped, the wrapping isn't included separately. They do a great job of the wrapping though.

So all three of the products you wanted wrapped were in one box that came wrapped?.. and that box was in the regular UPS box?

Yeah, they were all in the one box. That one box was wrapped. The wrapped box was sitting inside a plain, brown USPS box.

Hmmm interesting. I wonder how they know which one to wrap. I have two items that I'm sending to my sister and I want both of them wrapped so it's not a big deal if they put both in one wrapped box. I'm curious... Maybe if I only put one gift wrap in my order they'll wrap both. Confusing. Thanks, by the way, Mistress Kay.

When you ship a gift internationally who pays the customs tax? Or it's not wise to shop directly to the door of the gift recipient?

Did you pay three different gift-wrapping charges? That would hardly be fair if only one box were wrapped (even though all three items were inside it). If that is the case, then why not just pay gift-wrapping for one item instead of for three items?

I never noticed this before, but I probably wouldn't use it.

I always wrap the presents for everyone in our house. They all tease me that I should have people pay me to wrap gifts around Christmas because I do such a good job.

We give each other "daytime" "real" gifts for anniversaries, birthdays, etc. We also have private NIGHT TIME gifts we give each other. It is handy to have that gift wrap option. YES, we have BOTH used it.
