#AskEden - Gifting something on someone's wishlist...how do you know if it goes through?

I am trading a toy for an Eden giftcard but I'm not exactly sure how it works.

I added the giftcard to my wishlist that is connected to a gift registry then sent that wishlist to her. She said she was pretty sure it went through but how do we know if it did or not?

Am I supposed to get an email about someone gifting me something?

The other person will get an email confirmation of the purchase as soon as they complete the transaction and you should get an email notification when the gift card ships. However, EF recently changed their policy so that GCs can no longer be bought using points, so if the other person was attempting to do this, it will no longer work.
