Does anyone know how often the free toy with a purchase changes? I'm trying to decide if I want to purchase a toy now to get the free toy or wait to see what the next free toy is.

Well, it looks like the sale ends March 1st, so I would wait until then and they'll probably put up a new freebie within a few days to a week maybe?
