I just wanted to let everyone know that I have listed several items in the classifieds here on Eden's. Please feel free to make any offers you feel are reasonable, I'm sure we can come to an agreement on price! They all ship free in the USA, if you're not from the USA please let me know which country it would need to be shipped to so I can look into shipping costs for you. Thanks!

Oh my gosh, I can't find the classifieds now! How do we get back to them? It used to be a banner at the top of the forum page.

I couldn't find the classifieds on my own for the longest time, I check them occasionally. I was doing a Google search of "Edenfantasys Classifieds" to pull up the page, lol. Had no idea that we could access from the dashboard! Thanks.

Eden was going to close down the classifieds altogether is what I heard. Instead, they just removed the banner and easy to find links to it. I just type in the address and still see good stuff from time to time. I recently grabbed some great stuff from Carrie Ann (a former admin from here whom I and others really liked!). I got a bunch from her back in the Summer, too. So, what it looks like is there are less scammers on there then before, maybe?
Speaking of scammers...I want to caution people that there have been instances in the past where people got ripped off, so please be wary. (And that is in NO WAY meant in regard to Lvstoplay! We know her from onsite pretty well, so she's safe ) I am mentioning it because there are so many new people and some may think that Eden vets the posts, but they do not have anything to do with it other than providing the space to post. If anyone runs across trouble, please post the info on the forum to warn others! I would even post on the classifieds with a fake post that really just warns people, not selling something (as I have seen done before). You should contact Eden, too and while they can't help you, they can certainly boot the offender off. (Also, if you use Paypal, you should have some protection, I think.)

I'm not really surprised that there have been some scams on there. This is the first time I've ever even gone to the classified section, much less used it, so I can't say that I've had the chance to actually see any of the scams myself though.

For anyone who may be concerned - I promise my items are as pictured and described. I do have one listing without photos, but it's described well so that shouldn't be a problem. Please let me know if you have any questions or would like to negotiate a price.

I suggest you know those buying because even some well know names on EF have ripped off sellers.

I've never dealt on the classifieds since they opened. I had some things listed, but I never announced it, so they never sold and expired.

Thanks! I've never actually shared a link on here. I know there are certain rules to follow when doing such, but I haven't actually read them all and tried it yet.

I don't know, but you can link to other parts of Eden. If I understand it right it's just outside links that may be an issue.

Ugh, that's so lame. I always expect at least half-payment first with things like that. Unless it's a big ticket item and then I want full payment first then I will send it.

I've been lucky to have never been ripped off when buying toys on the classifieds, but I've been incredibly picky. There's always a risk when shopping from others, though! Just like selling to others, though.
04/14/2014
Isn't it safer just to use eBay?
04/14/2014
A few years ago I got scammed I sent her the toy and she never sent me money, I talked with EF about it and they felt bad and credited my account. Dont think anything like that would happen any more but they did appreciate hearing which user it was, don't know if they did anything about it but it was nice that they cared.

Yeah, I figured it would be like selling on other sites. You send me the money via paypal and I send you the item.

It would be nice if they had a way to "hold" the money for you until the transaction was completed so that it would be less likely that either side would get ripped off.

As long as you don't post a link to any site selling something Eden does, you are OK. That means no Amazon or Victoria's Secret links, but even more, no links to a drug store because they sell bath products and lube as does Eden.

As for a scam, I can tell you that TravelNurse made a few small buys from LoriandHubby and then, when Lori sent her a big box full of expensive toys, she said that Lori probably got most of them as review items, so Lori didn't lose out on the money and therefore she had no intention of paying! Lori told me this and yes, she said I could tell whomever I wanted, otherwise I would not have posted it. Lori is a friend of mine and I trust and believe her. I asked her why she didn't let people know so they wouldn't get burned, too and she said she doesn't believe in doing that. however, I think it best to warn others and really, why keep someone else's poor behavior a secret for them? I would be interested if TravelNurse is the same person who ripped off indiechick (mentioned above)! I am really surprised Eden paid her for her loss, that's really cool. I would NOT count on that now though, just saying.

I think that would be a great feature! You know, people can use PayPal and be sure to select that they are sending money to buy something (pay the fee, too) and then buy the item and the value and all the details of the transaction in the message box, so there is a record of it. If the other person doesn't send your item, or it's some other kind of ripoff, you can get your money back from PayPal and they will get booted by PayPal if they are scamming. This feature protects the seller as well because they can ask for the money up front. If the buyer gets ripped off, they can get the money back. At least that's my understanding of it. That said, i bought a toy from Oriental Husband and Wife and it went very well. And like I said before, I bought from CarrieAnn, too. I recommend coming on here and posting a discussion asking people if they have ever dealt with whomever it is before if they are unsure about the person. Ask people; it can't hurt!

Nor would I, but it is nice that they at least did it then. I don't see a point in hiding someone's poor behavior either when it is likely to hurt others to hide it. She bought the items and therefore should've paid, even if the person did get them for free. Even items we got free can be sold, I'd just expect them to be at a discount.

At least the items I'm selling are all pretty low priced, and as I said I'm willing to negotiate prices as well. I'd expect payment up front, especially since I'm offering free shipping in the USA. I too like PayPal - it doesn't always protect you, but it's better than nothing and it's convenient.
