Did you watch this week's Tuesdays with Nina? It was my favorite one yet!
I think Nina really struck a chord with this one. Attitude definitely affects the way we see everything, the way we react, the way we even hear others. Similarly, intentions color everything that we do. I am big believer in sincerity and can tell when someone is not sincere - so that leads me to deduce that they do not have the best intentions....see where I'm going here? There are many many cliche sayings about intentions, but they do inform our behavior - far more than we are usually conscious of.
I know when I was younger, I hid my feelings, my intentions because of intimacy concerns - I was a guarded girl! Have you or do you sometimes keep your intentions to yourself? Are you having sex for reasons other than what your partner knows? Do you have to struggle against attitudes that conflict with what you know you really want?
