#SummerPleasure - #SexIs - Hot Sex: How to Avoid Heat Stroke in the Bedroom

How To Avoid Heat Stroke in the Bedroom - Click here to read this handy article from SweetSouthernGirl. She gives us a few tips and tricks on how to keep lovin' fun when you feel like you're in an oven set on broil. Southern summers are pretty brutal, but even in the northern part of the U.S. things can get a little heated at times, and not in a good way.

One of her most important tips, in my opinion, is her advice on showering. Not necessarily having sex in the shower, but just washing off and bringing down your body temperature with your lover. It does wonders for the libido. Air conditioning also helps quite a bit, but not everyone has that luxury.

So tell us Edenites...how do you cool off when it feels like 120 degrees in the sun and 90 in the shade? Do you have any tips on staying cool enough during the summer to engage in a little hanky-panky? What's your favorite tip from the article?

In addition to ice play, keeping the A/C on and keeping the ceiling fan on in the bedroom, we also keep an entire gallon of drinking water in our bedroom all the time. We keep our glasses filled (I either have a full pint glass or two regular glasses filled all the time) and we take time out to drink water breaks during sex.

Even if we are too tired to shower after evening sex, we often use wash rags to cool off and stay cool.

One more thing we do, that I think most people don't have to is to turn down the heater on the water bed. Water beds have to have heaters in them or the water would leach all the heat from your body, even in the summer. (It would be like sleeping in a cold tub.) We turn it down to about 72 degrees, which isn't chilly, but isn't as warm as it is in the winter.

It's going to be a hot summer. Last summer our ceiling fan broke and it was miserable for several months until we got a new one. Now, I'm pretty sure we're ready.

I love the heat, when I have AC I turn it to 85. Anything below 75 is cold for me

We turn on the air and save activities until night time. When it is cooler. Definitely wear as little clothing as possible without keeping the neighbors in mind. I think if they are looking in my windows they deserve what they see! Just like I deserved to hear what they were doing the other night walking the dog. I walked right by their bedroom window. I could hear them having sex or watching porn. But that's because I walked by the window. (So I don't sound like a creep. Their bedroom window faces my drive way. I took the dog out to go to the bathroom. Hence why I walked by their bedroom window.)

We keep the air on and only are intimate at night when it's cooler (and the kids are asleep)

We keep the air on from now until late fall. We save activities for night or early morning and try to wear the least amount possible...but I have to be careful...I have a crazy neighbor, no, really, he is crazy,,and he sits on his porch with a shotgun every time I go outside-in winter and summer..have to wear something to carry my cell phone in!
