It's almost October, and were sure you're ready to get started on October's topics. So here they are! For a description of each of the types of submissions, check out this thread right here. And as always, please be sure to check the SexIs Social Submission Guidelines before submitting anything.
SexIs Subjective
Question: So just what is it about Halloween that makes us want to act all sexy? Is it because so many of the costumes made for adults are tight and skimpy? Or maybe it's just the perfect opportunity to act and dress like someone else? And should we be concerned with this? Are we oversexualizing a holiday that puts focus on children, or is Halloween for all ages? Are the sexy costumes empowering or degrading? Let us know!
Deadline: October 26th, 2012 @ 5pm

October is also Domestic Violence Awareness month and we'd love to hear your stories about survival, strength, healing and moving on. We'd like to ask that this be the focus, rather than abuse itself, to prevent these posts from being a trigger or a painful thing for other abuse survivors.
