References for sex shop?

I know this doesn't really fit into this forum but I don't think it fits anywhere else either. lol
I'm looking to get a job at a sex shop over the summer. When applying online I noticed that one of the questions was "Please list two reference including name, relationship, and best phone number to reach them at."
Now I know this is standard and I expect to put this on resumes but I wasn't really expecting to be something a sex shop is looking for. Like what kind of people would you even put in there? I'd hate to put anyone's name and number in there knowing that they might get a call from them and then find out I'm trying to work at a sex shop. Most people I know think I'm this nice conservative innocent girl and if I gave them someone respectable I know I think when they called them they would just think it was a joke if they stated I was trying to get a job at a sex shop.

So I guess enough about that, so who would you put on there if you had to? Also if you have any advice I could really use it since I'm kinda lost at what to do.

Friends who you trust to be discrete, but who know your work ethic really well.

Think about it this way, most adult shops make their living by friends telling friends about their stock. At least the ones that don't have a strong online presence.

So, really what they are asking you is this; "Who are you willing to tell about our products."

Even if that isn't what they are looking for, it is a good way for you to decide who you should write down. When you walk into work and see that the [insert cool toy here] just went on sale, who are you gonna call?

By the way, if you don't have anyone to write down, you need new friends.

I honestly have never applied to a sex toy shop before, but I would think that they would be very professional and discrete and ask questions that could apply for a clerk for any store. To be safe, I'd use references that would be open to you working there.

I try to put down people who know my work ethic or close friends who have worked for the company, or in a similar industry. All of my friends know that I am into this though and I have become the "expert" as far as they think.
