Not when it is made from your points. You can however buy a gift card with your points and send them that one.

Really? I did not know that. I thought points couldn't buy giftcards so that scammers couldn't get around the one-account thing for points use. Interesting.

Well, I was just able to make a GC from my points and use the code to pay for the physical GC. The way I understand it is that you cannot make a GC from points and then give the code to another person.

ya, the $1 wouldn't work too well since you can't transfer codes across accounts.
