I have one of those water globes. Wrap a piece of cheesecloth or coffee filter around the tip, to keep the soil out of the stem.

Lake Erie is a good substitute. We live up in the North of Canada and are just surrounded by snow, I look forward to the summer to get down to the south of Ontario to be near the lakes.
I used to be able to walk to the beach in less than four minutes and it was amazing when it was stormy. Scotland was just 13 miles across the sea. I need to get back to living near water!

Totally an eh if I feel like it sort of thing. Also depends on what day of the week it falls on really. Its better when it happens on the weekend.

Nah, I don't party for Paddy's Day. And having spent more than one in Dublin I've got to say that I never once saw anyone being pinched for not wearing green either.

It's sort of required - enough Celtic heritage to claim rights, so I end up going to street parties hosted by the local Irish pub. My ass gets pinched at least once during those things, but I never catch them.
