once your at the google pics click the image you want to use the right click and pick view image then click again and click copy image locatoin (it might be image url)

Easy way to get the correct link, when you find the image you want right click on it. In the popup menu select the option "Copy Image URL" that will give you the correct link to the image.

When using google search, you have to take the link from the page that is /only the image/. You can open any image this way, just open image in seporate window. It's the "full size image" button on google.
