Shipped to Wrong Address??

Contributor: firekitten firekitten
I ordered the Moonshine with the special yesterday for liking EF on FB. I thought it was strange I never received an email confirmation. I thought maybe it didn't go through so I checked my order history on here and realized it's been sent to the address on my PayPal which I used to pay for the shipping, instead of the address I have on my EF account. HUGE problem, that is my Dad's address across the country from me!

Has this ever happened to anyone else? What can be done??

Paypal shipping address always over rides the site (or other sites). I have had this happen with paypal but not on Eden.

It never asked to confirm the address like it does with credit/debit cards...I'm guessing this is a PayPal issue since you've had it happen on other sites, but what a pain. I NEVER use PayPal, and assumed (silly) that since I've been reviewing/on the ambassador program since July, and purchased things from the site before, it would choose the address I have on my EF profile.

This would be something to send in a support ticket about. No one on the forum will be able to tell you what you can do with your order aside from an admin. However, since EF really can't reverse the shipping system, it really seems like your package is going to end up at your Dad's house. If I had to guess, I'd have to say your Dad has to either refuse the package (so it goes back to EF and can be reshipped), or you'll have to get it from him.

But yeah, sites always should take Paypal over your typed-in address. Mostly because Paypal is supposed to be your most active address since it's supposed to match your bank address which is supposed to be where you live.

but yeah, submit a support to ask, but if I had to guess, it's out of EF's hands now. It would just matter if it's been physical sent out yet or still in processing.

I actually submitted a ticket before I posted this, I wasn't sure if maybe someone else had had this happen and knew what to do so I thought I'd ask here too.

I haven't received a response to my ticket yet, but I spoke to my Dad and he doesn't even own the house anymore so there's a good chance that it will either be returned or lost. Hopefully I get it one way or another.

I've never attached a bank account to my PayPal and very rarely use it. I have only used it to receive payments from blogging and the like.

Depending on who shipped it, you might be able to contact them about changing where it's shipped to; try giving them a call if it's already been shipped.
