Notification for something I didn't order.

So I just got an email notification saying "We would like to inform you that order number ... has been shipped..." and thanking me for my patronage. It says it's for a gift card. I haven't ordered a gift card, and when I look at my account info, it also says no order has been placed.

Is this a mistake or is this what happens when someone gifts you a card or what? I am confuse.

Sounds like someone gifted you the card. You will receive an e-mail when that happens. If you're still unsure, you can submit a support ticket.

I got a notice this morning also, but it was a gift from a lovely birdy!

Oh yes it does spoil the surprise, you can check and see who did it. It is located at the bottom of the email.

Yep, sounds like you got yourself a present. Like Kristi says, you can also submit a support ticket if you're not sure, but otherwise, enjoy it!

Strange. I had an E-mail similar to that about 2 months ago. It was a confirmation thing it looked like. It had a HUGE list of items that I supposedly purchased! I mean the order was freaking HUMONGOUS. I thought it was some sort of strange spam and ignored it from then on out. I went to my cart and all to make sure someone's order didn't get sent to me and there was nothing so then I really thought it was spam and that was all. I never got any more emails like that. But it said your order has been placed, thank you! I was like what the f? I didn't order any of that. Lol.
