How Do I empty the Outbox?

In the Account section, we've figured out how to delete old messages from our Inbox, but cannot find any way to delete them in the Outbox. Does this just clear itself over a certain amount of time? Or are we missing something?

I don't think there is a way, seeing there is not a delete button.
