Some people will feel uncomfortable buying adult items in stores. I don't think it's the items themselves, but more the stores that carry them. Where I live it seems like most adult toy stores are in some of the seedier parts of town and the stores themselves have a weird vibe about them.

I prefer online shopping but if EF had an actual store, I wouldn't be embarrassed to shop in it. Actually, I'd be totally excited. I don't think it's weird at all. Like AHubbyof2SexualMinds stated, there will always be people who get awkwardly uncomfortable about going into these types of stores.

My issue with store shopping for adult items is that there are very few in my area and they don't look very inviting. Plus, I like to really research items and read reviews etc...in a store I feel rushed. I don't care about what others in the store might think since they are there too!

I was embarrassed in my teens but now it ain't no thing. When I lived in MD a lot of the stores were really skeevy, too. But now the one in my town is really quite nice and professional.

I've bought and would buy items in stores but I prefer EF because of the reviews.

I buy online, I'm more comfortable this way

I don't care what people think I have brought from the stores too. But it is cool to look online in your own privacy though. Half the time when I went to Spencers I had my kids with me. I had to send my son to look at T-shirts to get or the novelty things they had for kids in there.

Yeah, I agree. Before I make a purchase, I like to do really careful online research. Especially when it's a purchase for something I'm going to put inside of me. In a store, I think I'd feel rushed to make impulsive decisions.

I always liked the sex shops where I grew up and developed a taste for toys, they were often run by other women and were clean and friendly and not weird at all, but since moving to the east coast i am very happy I order online. Many of the places where i live now are gross to walk into, not well maintained and attached to strip clubs. and always run by men who give you dirty looks. Also the selection is bigger online. That being said if EF had a store I would totes go in

I prefer online because there is a lot more toys to select from and the stores around where I live look pretty nasty and have some people hanging around outside that look like they are up to no good.

I prefer in person but I also like shopping for adult stuff online.

I've always enjoyed online shopping so toy shopping online just made sense. Also variety and options tends to be another motivator when purchasing something new.

I have no problem buying in person at a brick and mortar for the tactile experience, however, I do prefer buying online because I've never been into an adult store that can stock the wider variety of toys, clothes and lubes that an online store can.
