Are we suppsoed to get an immediate order confirmation once we submit an order on EF?

Ok... so I was making an order and had all my items chosen and in the cart along with the Kissa glass vibe Facebook Friends promotion and I go and click the paypal button to pay and at the end it tells me that the Kissa promotion is no longer valid. Ok... I guess I'm unfortunate to miss out on that then in the time it took me to try and get the order done. (The shopping cart system here is not really as slick as it could be.)

Anyway... I take the Kissa out of my cart (it's out of stock now) and resubmit the order but after I clicked the Paypal payment button I received nothing from EF telling me that my order went through successfully. Are you supposed to receive an immediate confirmation telling you that the order was successfully submitted or do you have to wait a while?

There is nothing in my orders list under my account profile to indicate the order went through... but I do see that the gift card I redeemed as part of the order is now down to a ZERO balance so maybe it did go through.

I submitted a ticket to see what the status of the order is and if it went through but does anyone else have info on how quickly you get confirmation when you submit an order?

Yes... I thought it was unusual as well not to get immediate confirmation. My gift card has definitely been used though because the balance is down to 0. I guess I'll just have to wait a few days to hear back from customer service. Unfortunately no doubt some of the items will go out of stock by then if the order hasn't gone through successfully. Frustrating.

No... I checked the spam box as well. It doesn't look like the money has moved from my Paypal account so I assume the order didn't go through but the gift card is down to Zero... so I'll have to wait until that's sorted by EF before I can resubmit the order.

I suppose another logical question is how long does it usually take for someone from EF to actually respond to support tickets? It says within 24 hours but is that accurate or does it sometimes take several days?

Could it be due to the weekend? I believe the hours of operation are from 8am - 4pm EST, from Monday to Friday. This could also be for support as well.

Any order I have placed on the weekend was confirmed and shipped on Monday.

My confirmations are sometimes immediate, but have taken up to 12 hours sometimes.

I always get a confirmation email straight away after ordering - even on the weekends.
Getting them shipped lately is another story. US monday will be a week since I did my order and not sent yet.
Unfortunately my free monthly toy time is ticking away.

I think it depends on the area the ticket is going to. I have had fast responses to tickets but have had really slow ones too.
Actually, one I sent in still hadn't been responded to after a number of days so I gave up.

I can't tell ya what the ordering tickets are like - have yet to do one.


PS - sometimes with things (other than orders, returns etc), it's easier/quicker to ask another contributor than send a ticket in.

Well I'm still waiting to hear some sort of conclusion to this. I got a message from customer support that they are looking into it and I've got patience but surprising this has taken so long to sort out.

Hope they are able to get it sorted for you very soon. It is very frustrating when ya don't know what's going on. And even more so when it comes to toys! Seems weird that your order isn't on your order page but the GC balance is 0.


I received confirmation on my order I placed early last week but they never showed it as sent so I could see the tracking code. By last monday I was wondering what was happening. Then tuesday the courier turns up with it even though it was still saying processing on here.
It wasn't til that evening that it arrived, that it was changed to shipped.

Weird cause I've never had that happen before. I like to be able to see online when it's roughly going to be here, so someone is home - cause I live over an hr away from the courier and they don't deliver everyday of the week.

If I don't get a response, I send a second ticket in to inquire as to why my first wasn't answered; every time that's happened, I've gotten a response back promptly to both inquiries.

No money has come out of my Paypal account yet... just the EF gift card is down to zero. The original customer service rep that was assigned to the ticket didn't respond but another one has... so I assume now they are still looking for the order in the system. My guess (and it's just a guess) is there was some sort of glitch in the system when I took the Kissa out of my cart because it went out of stock and then when I clicked again and resubmitted the order minus the Kissa glass vibe... all I got was a blank white screen when I should have gotten some sort of order confirmation #.

That's all well and good... I understand sometimes glitches happen... normally I'd just resubmit until I got some confirmation that the order went through and an order number... just like on Amazon and any other number of other online sites. It's different here though because the gift card is used so I'm not sure if the order is somehow half way in limbo in some sort of toy purgatory.

Oh well patience is a virtue I guess. I love the site and the community here so I'm willing to wait and get a conclusion to this.

Hmmm, normally the paypal payment would have gone through way before now.
So, I think you are probably right on it being lost in limbo but sux that the GC has gone.
But when they work out what's happened, it will be available again - hopefully soon.
You seem WAY more patient than I am! I don't really have any patience....hehe.

The ironic part, of course, was that I was hurrying to get my order in by 2pm that day so I could get it by Friday (ie today.)

Hurray. Finally resolved the issue and had the gift card value reinstated. Now I can look to see which of the items I wanted are still in stock and resend the order again. Hopefully this time it actually goes through without any problems.
