I just placed an order with the intention of using my commission...It didn't work. I didn't even see an option for it. I attempted it a few times and in a couple different browsers. When I proceeded through the steps on Firefox, the screen looked different as I went on...I don't know how to explain it. It almost seemed like a glitch. There was less structure to the page, like a more simplified version of checkout. The option to apply part of my commission never appeared...I ended up paying with a credit card instead. What's the deal?

Did you make sure you were on your Affiliate account and not your Contributor? If you don't go up in the right hand corner next to Assignment Cart and click it over from Contributor to Affiliate it won't show in the checkout.

Ah! Oh my goodness, that didn't even occur to me. What a simple fix. I always wondered what that little drop down menu was for....I'll have to give that a try. I bet that's the solution!

Oh! I thought it was just me!!!
I tried both clicking between Affiliate and Contributor buttons and notta. Anyone else have this issue?

The few time I used my commission I never had to switch from affiliate/Contributor buttons. It showed up in the payment screen in the top right corner.
That screen I have seen before, sorry but I can't remember what I did to fix and get back to the other screen. I am thinking I cleared the catch or something like that. I do remember a thread about that screen, I'll see if I can find it.
Found it the thread about the different screen here. According to llya "If your internet connection is slow, a different, "light" version of the checkout screen will load"
Fred also chimed in and mentioned "BTW, this "light" checkout version once shown will keep showing up until you clean up cookies. Otherwise, even if the connection is back to normal, you'll be seeing the light version."
Maybe that is the reason for the commission issue?

Thanks ToyTimeTim, for the info because I've seen it as an option a few times and then not other times and have always wondered.

WomanChina, I'm still having the issue. I'm going to try clearing my cookies and see if that helps. Thanks, ToyTimeTim!

I've noticed that Firefox hasn't been working right for the last month or so and have switched to Chrome.
If you're having a problem with an order, I'd suggesting contacting Customer Service before finalizing the order. It's always easier to work around an issue than fix it after the fact.

So, I am still having issues. I've tried Firefox and Internet Explorer. (I'm not downloading Chrome just for this one purpose...) I have tried clearing my cookies/cache/browser history, switching from Contributor to Affiliate, restarting my wireless connection and computer, etc. No dice.
Do I just need to submit a support ticket or does someone have another suggestion? This is such a pain! I've used it before, so I know I'm not just losing my mind!

I've got Chrome and I don't see it either. I've tried it in Firefox and in Explorer as well as on a friends Mac. I've done all you have done, seen the light version and the regular version of the check-out... and notta.

LOL
I'm glad I'm not the only one having this problem! Is anyone currently able to successfully use their commission at check-out? Maybe you could tell us what you're doing, what kind of settings and browser you're on?

is it working for you now? i thought it happened to me once, but it turned out that the comms just hadn't hit yet, as in they were ready to pay out based on when the sales had hit. anything that shows "earned comms" should come up as available to you to spend or request payout.
