For those with Affiliate Stores...

How's it going? Are you seeing traffic? Sales? Is there any form of advertising you're using that seems to be more effective than another?

My store WILL be up and running completely by this weekend so I was just wondering how the others are doing so far

Glad to hear your store is almost ready, Tori. While there are a lot of people with stores, the majority of them aren't frequent visitors to the EF Forum (or at least not frequent users that I see around often). But I think there are a few that could give us some insight. We'll see.

I need to add product descriptions to my store, but it is basically ready to go.

I plan to post on my blog, twitter and Facebook. For regular affiliate sales, my blog is the most successful, but I have had sales from Twitter and Facebook too.

Other than that, I don't have any tips. Hope someone posts here who does

So I just figured out something else out that I think is really cool, but it could be something else everyone knows and I'm just completely naive. I had a few items in my EF cart (woohoo for free surprise gifts and Liberator contest entries!) and I opened another window w/ my affiliate store and the cart block on my personal store showed the items in my cart. I'm not sure how useful this actually is, but it was neat to see how tightly the two are linked nonetheless

Yep, the store cart on the stores will show items you added in the EPS store or on EF main, and it should match your EF cart as long as you're logged in. Good eye.

You need have a self hosted website, so you do need to pay for your own domain and hosting, but there is no additional cost beyond that other than time

You will need to purchase your own domain from a domain provider like GoDaddy, NetFirms, NetworkSolutions, etc. A domain is a website address that you own. If you have a blog on blogspot with an address like "myblogsite. blogspot. com" then you are using a *subdomain.*

EdenFantasys is now offering hosting for Eden Personal Stores. This is a new feature that was just announced today on this thread. Check out that post and the link in the post for more details.
