A lot of people might wonder how well the affiliate program works, and I'm taking the opportunity to give a little feedback about my experience, and you're most welcome to do so as well or ask questions too.
At first, when I created my blog and took an affiliate code, I was only curious to see how much money could be made and if it was worth it. In conclusion, it is, but you have to put some work in your networking, your reviews and keeping your site fresh with recent new toys that will bring visitors to your blog. Of course, I was also interested in sharing personal posts - though I barely have time to do so now - I finally returned to school full time in Nursing.
In the very beginning, I would give out my affiliate code on the side of my blog, and this is what would give me a few sales, until I finally took the courage to remove it, and rely on the links themselves. The only place where my code is given is on my profile here, and it's used once in a while at some customer's advantage. I think I make more commissions by having fewer sales but with a maximum %.
When I say it is worth it, I mean that most of my purchases here are covered by what I make in commissions, even if I have to wait for the following month to get a little expensive something. And Edenpoints barely contribute to my finances (maybe $10 a month).
It's an interesting experience having a blog for sex toy reviews, and there's nothing like being contacted by a company so that you could join their review program as well. It's flattering.
