I'm 19 so I can't participate in the affiliate program at the moment, but for the future, how do international affiliates go about registering for payment? To my knowledge the W-9 form is for US residents only.

International Recipients
You can claim commissions if they exceed $50 total threshold. At the end of every month we calculate the commissions earned and remit the payment to you. You have the choice between a U.S. drawn bank check or wire transfer. The wire transfer will cost $15 which will be deducted from your commissions. The check and postage for USPS Priority mail to your address is free.
(so on the left sidebar of your account dashboard, you'll find a link that says register for payments. strangely it's not under the affiliate section, it's under settings.)

First thing you'll need to do is the Registration for Payments. This is where we get our information.
Paypal is also an option for international too.
As a rule, we really don't offer tax suggestions for people, since each person's situation is different and we don't want to pass along information that may not apply to everyone's tax situation. Make sure you talk to your tax preparer or some other tax professional.
A W-9 form is only for US based affiliates.

This is interesting.... Once you've "registered" for payments, how do you actually get the payment? If the person has "earned commissions" in their closed period this month in the affiliate program, do they need to request the Paypal payment or how exactly does this work? I searched for information but cannot, for the life of me, find it. I'm in Canada so the W-9 form is not applicable to me.

Once we have your payment info and arrangements are sent, after the closed period and cooling off time, payments are automatically sent if the earned commissions are above $50.

Example:
Let's say I earned $30 in commissions in August and then earned $75 this month (September). I wouldn't get a check/paypal for the August commissions in October because it was under the $50. It rolls over to September.
Because the waiting time is basically the rest of the month plus another month (to account for returns and refunds), the combined August/September commissions check/paypal should drop around the first week of November.
If you have any more questions, go ahead and send me an email/on-site message.

Okay so they are automatic. I am still unsure of this "tax information" thing at payment registration. I know it says for US citizens but as a Canadian, should I put something in that required field? I'll send you a message right now.
