Using more than one coupon codes?

I read it some days ago (don't ask where, I wish I could find it among my bookmarks) that you can use more than one coupon codes (I don't mean the giftcard now) when you purchase something, so the discounts just pile up pushing the price low as hell...

I have just tried it and it seems to accept only one code at a time...

I am dying to know if the theory above is real in practice too, any info about it, and if it really does work that way then how can one manage it?

You can use more than one discount in the same order, such as a 30% buyout review item in the same order with a 15% affiliate code discount on the other items, but each individual item will only get one discount.

Same with 'free item with purchase' items. You can get the free item or a discount, but not both.

I didn't know you could mix discounts on different items. That's good information.

Our community has answered well! Coupons and free items can't stack on top of each other. That is true for most major retailers.

One at a time. I was given a coupon code b/c Friends with Benefits will not work for me no matter what so I was trying to use that coupon code plus the 25% coupon code. Didn't work. Sucks.

I had never tried to use more than one coupon code, so it is good to know that is not going to work. I did just combine a gift card with a coupon and got a free item as well, so I got 3 things for no money. That was my best one ever... only amounted to $30 but it made me happy!

Say I want to buy a Hitachi wand as a buyout review, but I also want to pick up a Goodfella using my 15% off partner code.

My 30% off will apply to the Hitachi, and once I enter my partner code, the Goodfella will discount by 15%--but the Hitachi will not discount further, as you can only have one discount per product. My ORDER will have two discounts, but each individual ITEM will only have one.

Make a little more sense?

You CAN do a buyout while a toy is on sale, but it won't stack the discount. It will provide you with the 30% off buyout discount, rather than the 20% discount, but it won't give you 30% off of 20%.

(For example, if you had a $100 toy on sale for $80, and you did a buyout assignment, you'd pay $70, because you only get the buyout discount, not the stacked 30 off 20 discount of $56.)

Nope, they don't stack. I'm not too sad about it. Eden has been very good to us and gives us lots of freebies and discounts as it is. I'd be more stingy and upset with other sites about coupon codes not stacking, but not Eden.
