I have a bazillion Eden points and there is no way I will ever use them all. You used to be able to convert them into gift certificates but not anymore. You use them when you buy something and get a discount and that is great but what else can we do with them? Any ideas on what Eden can do so we can use our points. Can we gift them to somebody? Up your rank by spending some? Anyone else have any idea and am I missing something else that you can already do with the Eden points?

Excellent question!! I have been wondering the same thing since only a small percentage can be used towards purchases. Sorry that I have no answers for you!!

Oh, and adding to my last post I wanted to add a frustration of my own. It seems like every other day my rating drops. Overnight it dropped from 6.2 to 6, which is extremely disappointing to me. I don't have huge amounts of time to spend logging in daily and writing tons of reviews. I really wish I did because it would be so much more fun than what I'm doing, LOL!! Plus I would be getting really cool toys in the process!! And getting to try them out--which is ALWAYS FUN!! I wish there was a way that once you reached a level/rating, you could just stay there.

On one hand, I'm happy for you guys that you have so overwhelming amounts of points which is more than enough for endless purchasing. But I'm afraid, that reducing the cost of products a bit - it is the only application for Eden points for now.
Since keeping huge amounts of points is becoming a problem, we'll think over what can be done here for overall benefits, and maybe I'll be able to come up with some exciting possibilities for you in the nearest future.
Thanks for raising this issue!

Your ranking depends on not only your activity, but also it is affected by the activities of other contributors.
But I'll definitely check if everything is ok with your rank to make sure there are no failures, and the rank calculating algorithm is working properly.
I'll let you know the results whatever they will be!

Ahh yeahhhhhh.. I have quite a nice number of Eden points myself - probably enough for like ten really big orders lol XD they're nice to have, but I wish I could have multiple ways to use them, not just through buying things.

I kinda like the suggestion from Soundside46 and the ranking system thing mentioned by Perspicace mais érotique is something I noticed as well. I would like to add something that I find REALLY important regarding the ranking system. I think there's a big flaw when it comes to EdenTasks. Perhaps Perspicace mais érotique also has experienced this.
I realized that when I complete EdenTasks and when I go over other people's reviews to approve, it doesn't factor positively into my ranking. In fact, I've had my ranking *drop* many times mere moments after approving someone's review... Right after I see their rank go up a little. The same applies to mentorship classes, since you're going over that person's review and approving it or declining it. This basically feels like... As if I were giving that person a part of my hard-earned ranking.
Why did I make this correlation? Well, if you're moving someone up in ranks by approving their review - new user or not - without moving yourself up at the same time, you're effectively getting left behind while others move forward. My rank never went up after approving someone else's review. It only ever dropped. I have approved, corrected, refused dozens of reviews, so this isn't something I noticed after just one or two. In fact, I have corrected over 50 rather elaborate, lengthy, detailed ones at this point, and this rank-drop thing happened repeatedly!
While I was still regularly approving people's reviews, My rank went from like 7.5 or something to 6.0 before I noticed that there was a correlation. I don't like that my rank had to suffer as a result of trying to help the community; it's not really fair, at all. I can't even request the higher end of items to review anymore, because you need a ranking of 6.5+ to do it, and my ranking dropped like crazy because of all the people I approved/boosted. So I stopped doing it! Completely.
Since I stopped approving other peoples' reviews and taking part in EdenTasks, my ranking has stabilized at around 6.2-6.3. It stopped dropping.
BUT doing this, proofreading all these reviews, it's good for the community, isn't it? As it helps new reviewers blossom, it gives us points, which we are grateful for.. plus, I liked doing it. It would be nice if this helped with our ranking instead of punishing us by dropping our ranks as a result... since we are effectively helping and participating in the community!

Our coders are already working on this problem. The thing is the process of the rank calculation is very complicated, intricate and includes numerous parameters and ratios, so it could be very hard and take a lot of time for them to find out what's wrong.

And actually I extremely happy that you were so observant and attentive and shared your thoughts here! It can be very useful for us and help to narrow down the range of search significantly!
Your assistance and work you're doing with reviewers and reviews should be awarded, and that's definitely wrong if you're losing your rank instead.
I'm deeply grateful for the cooperation and help you provide! And I'll keep you posted on what I'll manage to find out about rank calculation!

I love the ideas that @SoundSide46 suggested and agree that there should be more ways to use Eden Points. I'm also concerned about the issue @iovys raised regarding their participation in proofreading seemingly having a negative impact on their rank. That definitely does not sound right.

Can you please kindly provide an update if any new possibilities for EdenPoints have been established or are currently in the works? Also, has the ranking issue been resolved?
Thank you in advance

Does anybody else have the issue of being stuck in the EdenPoints trial period, like I’m definitely past the time when it said it should switch over (I just checked today so I hadn’t noticed until now)? Although I’m not really sure if this is an “issue”. Also, how long after an EdenTask is completed do we see the points show up? Just so I have an idea in the future.

Yea I agree I’ve been a member for years. I watched them pull out point program and it was extremely popular at first. The EdenFantasy website was amazing. Then people started point farming and I think Eden almost lost the business. Mainly because they didn’t regulate the point program. They deleted many members points that they saved up and deactivated accounts associated with fraud. Many members such as myself were confused because the website stated they wanted active members and they were going to give points for activity. Problem was some people were just posting a word or something that didn’t really contribute at all. They came down hard on everyone even loyal members. People stoped visiting the website in massive amounts. I know why they changed the point system but it’s way to restrictive now. %15 of you order used with points is something that most people would say is not enough. Personally I think there can be a system that makes it so you can use more points for orders. Maybe up to 50,000 points a month could be used for half your order or something. I think having to spend $95 to get $15 off is hard for some people to even consider viable.

As a buyer, I understand your feelings and on the same page with you. Who doesn't want to get as low price as possible, as big discount as possible, and as many free products as possible? And this wish is natural and quite understandable. But have you ever think about the fact than when we buy a product or pay for a service, we don't only exchange money for goods? In such a way we show our gratitude and acknowledgement for people who invest their time, skills and resources into the creation of these products and motivate them to work even better, to upgrade their products and therefore, make our lives more perfect and enjoyable. And it's not only about producing. Somebody has to get thing organized to make it possible for us to buy products by a few clicks on the computer.
And it becomes obvious in this regard that it is impossible to get products away for free. Don't you think it's just disrespectful towards workers who put a lot of efforts into all process from the developing product's concept up to delivering it to customer's door?
Nevertheless, EdenFantasys appreciates and loves every customer, that's why there are a lot of loyalty programs on the website including Eden points. Regular deals with 60%, 70%, 85% off, free gifts, gift cards - so many ways for customers to lower a price and save money! Not to mention extra possibilities available to our beloved reviewers!
Let's focus on the positive side and enjoy all the variety of promos and deals going on the Eden! Besides, Xmas is coming our ways, and there will be even more delicious deals for you, guys!
