I'm a notorious worrywart so this might be nothing! I ordered a package using the free UPS Smartpost option. The site says it was delivered, but now says "Received by the local post office". It also gave a tracking number for the USPS, which also says it was delivered.
Has anyone experienced something like this?

Yes, actually. I truly feel it's my post office though. For instance the last time it said it'd been delivered and my post office had been saying I had nothing arrive for 2 days, my partner went to a particular lady there and asked her to "check again." Oh well whattaya know? She comes out with a damn handful of boxes (3)! And once I KNEW my package had to have already arrived because it was 7 days! So he asked them to check twice, they showed nothing. This was after 2PM, so I went to an appt. and then I went in the post office my dang self and whattaya know? They have a package! WTF? My post office is lazy though, not sure if that is the case in your situation. That reminds me, today I had a package of small things like toothpaste, deo delivered to my house -- came in a larger box than would fit in my mailbox, so the mailman freaking rubber-banded it to the hook on the mail box! It nearly blew off when I pulled in the drive way. Ugh!
It's highly likely that your package is not lost, but your postal service or the carrier just didn't "make it" to you with it. I think they do this a lot. I know they will often carry it around and take it to you days later, but this isn't true with all of them. One of our UPS guys is really good about getting me my packages and then you have the others who will not.
I'd give it a day or two, talk to your post office. Seriously. It can make a huge diff. just talking to them. I've had to go through quite some heck with my post office people, so sometimes you just need to talk to them (politely) and get em' in gear! It'd be pretty rare for EF to just not send it but have it listed as delivered from the carrier. Then again, I've had EF packages that arrive in 3 days and then I've had to wait for 9 days sometimes. Usually it's less than 5 days though.
