#AskEden - wrong form of refund

I send back a toy and asked for a refund and on the note I sent I said I would like a refund of points (my original form of payment on the order)

I just got an email today that said the amount was put back on credit card (that was not used on that specific order but was used on another one) instead of points.

I'm guessing this can't be undone?
I don't really see how this got mixed up since points was the original form of payment with the order and I even asked on paper to get my refund with points? =(

Your best bet to get an answer on these kinds of questions is a Support Ticket.

Has the amount actually appeared on your credit card? I have found that sometimes even when I am getting an exchange, I have gotten emails telling me that the amount would be refunded to my credit card. When I spoke to support about it, I was told simply to ignore them.

Contacting support as people have suggested is a great bet if you want to make sure that things are going to work exactly the way that you'd like them to, though.

Check your gift cards on the site. The amount has more than likely been refunded to the gift card you used.

I was just trying to see if it was possible be undone before I submitted a ticket about it. If it happened with my first return I imagined it isn't a very rare thing and someone might know the answer lol

You get a computer generated email stating it went back on a CC but in reality it goes back to the original GC that you used. It will happen with EVERY order you return

It looks like there may be correct answers in this thread. If you PM me your order number (can't pull anything up under the email in your account) I will take a look and let you know exactly what's going on. Anything can be done/undone to meet your needs
