oooh. I know a lot of good dieting tips. I don't really diet, but I have in the past. I tried Slimple only a few times, testing the product and actually loved it! It's a pill, but is natural, contains coaco and works pretty well for supressing appetite. I couldn't take them any more than 4-5 tmes total since I couldn't afford to suppress my appetite any more than it already is, I struggled with some nasty stomach issues and endometriosis so my weight is always low. Anyways, I haven't taken them a whole lot, but the few times I did there was no way I was able to even think food. I was quite surprised. Also, there's no side effects. Besides those, I cannot take any diet pills without getting really ill or at the least having awful anxiety attacks. My mom took the rest of the Slimple pills and said they were good for her, but she didn't notice a huge difference. I guess everyone's different.
You can also eat Virgin Coconut Oil to help with weight loss. I LOVE that stuff. I don't eat it to lose weight so I really don't know how well it works, but I ate a teaspoon full a few times a week for less than a month and it cleared up the stomach issues I suffered from as well as took away TONS of the pain I had from Endometriosis. It's been months since I've eaten any more of it and I've still not had what used to be my normal, everyday pain and probs.
I definitely suggest going with something natural. I wouldn't go for any diet pills unless it's the Slimple. If I were going to take something to help with weight loss, it'd be those. Others always gave me nasty side effects.
You can also try eating things like rice, it helps you stay full longer. For me, smoothies, milkshakes, coffee, etc. will make me feel too full to eat for hours.
If you're wanting to excersize, I suggest a set of weights (or you can use canned foods!),a good set of ankle weights and a yoga mat. I wear my ankle weights when I'm going to be doing a lot of work like cleaning house or when I walk the track or even just vaccuming. Those are a miracle for my legs! Weights are easy because you can get the little 5 pound weights and use them when talking on the phone and stuff. Lol. You should have at least 30 mins of cardio each day though. Sometimes just a jog is enough or when you feel perky spend a few minutes dancing really hard, really fast! That's always a quick calorie burner. When I exercise I drink Celsius before and it makes things much smoother and I have more energy to work harder.
Hmmm... I can't think of any more suggestions at the moment. I'm sure I've written enough already though! Lol.

I am trying portion control right now which works for awhile but I think it would be a ton easier with a appetite suppressant and you are totally right I so love natural supplements and eating things like oatmeal and rice keeps me full for forever,
I am a college kid so I have no spare time for things like cooking or running a ton : ) I love work outs I can do while multitasking so the ankle weights sound great.

Don't use ankle weights!!! All they do is put a strain on your tendons, trust me they don't boost your workout. I'd suggest instead just using the elliptical on a high setting, then it feels like you're wading through molasses.
As far as foods go, Talking Rain is great and has nothing in it, Progresso soup has very little calories in it, and I would suggest using the app/website MyFitnessPal. It's really helpful for me!

Activia! Really yummy yogurt that works! Straightens out digestive problems and sheds pounds as it does so. There's the protein diet. Always have a 4 oz's of some kind of protein with lots of veggies (no sauces or anything like that with them), and hard boiled eggs with hot sauce in the morning.
