I'm thinking of getting a Vixen toy, but there are so many great options I don't know where to start!

The Mustang size isn't intimidating as much as the others. I like the crazy colors as well as the life like details.

My wife's favorite is Johnny Vixskin - second is the Maverick. Johnny is most realistic - Maverick is larger for the extra-full feeling.

Mustang or the Johnny in the flesh tones. The bright solids and multi colors don't do much for me. But it's really what you want.

Mustang, just because of the size.

I have Maverick and Johnny and would HIGHLY recommend Johnny!

I regret choosing Bandit because it's too big for me. If I had gotten something in a diameter that I know I comfortably accommodate, then I would be able to use it everyday! So, just choose based on diameter & whether you like balls attached, or prefer a color. And, if you don't like a ridged head, you can try the Raquel!
To me, from reading comments on the forums, I expected the O2 & VixSkin to be similar, they are not even close! But, I address that in the next section.

So far I've only tried silicone toys from Tantus and LELO so I'm curious as to how the Vixen feels compared to them.

Both the O2 and Vixskin formulations are great - we have a slight preference for Vixskin.

Vixskin is so much softer, there is really no comparison other than they both have firm inner cores! If you don't like squishy though, you will have issues with the soft, pliable outer layer of the VixSkin. It can get sticky for storage, but a light dust of cornstarch remedies this & was recommended to me by VixSkin.
Even the VIP Super Soft by Tantus which is made of only the softer, outer layer of the O2, is much firmer than I expected from reading comments on the forum! If you have ever felt cyberskin, pureskin, or any of the other "life-like" materials, that is more what the outer layer of the VixSkin feels like. The O2 just has slightly more give to it than the usual Tantus silicone.
I know people compare them, but they are so vastly different, I don't think they compare except in having a firm inner core. Feel free to PM me if you have any questions!
