Several of my favorite realistic dildos are made of Cyberskin. It's the most realistic material I've found yet and doesn't have the awful odor of UR3.

Cyberskin seems like a good idea, but the dildo I had always had stuff on it, no matter how much or often I cleaned it. Eventually, it started to irritate my skin and then I had a burning sensation when I used it.

Ditto, although my experience with cyberskin did NOT include burning because the material is so finicky that my partners and I always used condoms with it. It just isn't worth the care required, in my opinion.

Although, there are those realistic pussies that are made in cyberskin-like materials that are actually rather nice, so maybe I'm just a spoiled woman.

This poll does not have enough options. How about "I could go either way"

I have one of Topco's Wildfire Cyberdicks, and its just the plushest, juiciest thing ever. I had to buy a duplicate because my friend was enamoured with it and ran away with him. SO far it hasn't discolored, collected fuzz or degraded in any way. I do scrub it pretty well with two different antibacterial cleaners.

My main issue with cyberskin is that I'm overly sensitive to it (I get irritated / discomfort if it's used w/o a condom); secondary is that it gets "picks" or tears in it too easily. I don't want to purchase toys that will be unattractive or unusable after a few months.

I haven't liked cyber skin so far, as it demands too much care. So, in some ways cyber skin is a trade off....but it feels so good.....

I love the texture of cyberskin, but it does require a bit of "upkeep"
09/04/2009
I also like the idea, but it's too hard to keep clean.

I dont think its any more of a PITA to clean than silicone, which pics up lint much much easier than any cyberskin or similar material toys I have... I still like it. I think most hate it and they dont understand or think about why they hate it at all, they just hear that it's bad and write it off.
Sex toy companies should really try to educate people correctly on pthalates and softeners and pores and safety etc. Part of the reason everyone is so "Ooh scary" is probably because there isn't real info out there... sure we can say.. oh X is porous and has pthalates... but do we know for sure? have we examined it under a microscope and seen that it retains germs through cleaning? there just isn't any real info for people to refer to and so they cling to what they do have which are studies (that get twisted by the time we hear of them) and suspicions.
If my vagina ever falls out due to a cyberskin toy I will make sure to keep you all informed.

You are right, CyberSkin requires some tender loving care to maintain...but still MUCH less work than a real man IMHO.
CyberSkin was "accused" of containing phthalates a while back but it absolutley does not. There was some magazines that absolutley misread a report by Green Peace and reported that CyberSkin did contain phthalates. CyberSkin was actually the one product they tested that did NOT contain phthalates.
That was a few years ago, but you can read about it on the CyberSkin website link
And we have an FAQ on our website about phthalates and other sex toy material questions if ya wanna check it out! link
Topco Sales also has a blogger, Dr. Tim, who is always there for sex toy material and lube ingredient questions. He is our director of Drugs and Cosmetics and has a wealth of information! link

Does anyone make a cyberskin toy that doesn't look real? I think I'd be more willing to give it a try if the toy in question was, for example, navy blue and somewhat abstract in shape. Ownership of disembodied parts just seems a tad bit too serial killer for my tastes.
09/18/2009
Toygeek- some of the cyberskin dream/fantasy dicks are abstract colors. The cyber cock line is realistic but not overly detailed so it doesn't look disembodied. The Xtacy vibe is kinda realistic but at the same time overstated and a funky color so it doesn't seem like it just got lopped off.
The cyberskin creamsicle link is probably the least realistic cyberskin on EF though. There are a couple of clitoral toys too.
Mostly cyberskin is used for realistic stuff since that's its big draw is that it feels real, and it really does. Some people say that it seems a bit flaccid but I haven't had that problem for years so I think they fixed it.

Good to know. I'll add the creamsicle to an order next time it's in stock. Looking at these, I'm realizing that realistic shape doesn't bother me all that much, it's the flesh tone that's giving me the willies. No pun intended, of course.

Recently i bought a vixskin Mustang and we already have the Cyberskin Cinnamon. After trying both during oral play with the dildo, my wife prefers the cyberskin to the Vixskin. She has come 3 times out of 5 with it (and 2 attempts ended unsuccessfully- interruption due to crying 6 month old), and none with the Vixskin. I love the cyberskin because of the color and it is nearly identical to me in size and color (sorry if TMI).

Definitely a love/hate relationship. It's awesome 'til it's...not...

I don't like that it's so difficult to clean.
03/13/2011
I think it's worth the maintenance. I haven't found anything more realistic, which is (so I believe) important if you're male identified and do not have a penis.
06/08/2011
its ok but alot of work
06/09/2011
Hate it!

It feels really cool but hate that it attracts lint/hair/everything!
