Cyberskin is one of the most realistic materials on the market. It's skin like texture and beautiful hand painting makes it almost as good as the real thing. Also with dual density you get the different textures like real people, so our penises have a firm inner core like a real erect penis and a soft outer lining like the skin of a penis. We even have masturbators that have simulated pelvic bones and bones in the toes of our foot strokers!!! It is a delicate material and needs to be well maintained to extend it's life span. Also, the realness makes it extremely porous so thorough cleaning is important! Let's hear your thoughts!!

It feels nice, but the maintenance is not worth it for me. The material requires a ton of care and it doesn't last nearly as long as I would like it to. Plus, it's difficult to clean. For me, it's just not worth it.

I really like cyberskin. I currently have a cyberskin dildo. Although I don't know what a real penis feels like, I enjoy the feel of the material. I wash my dildo with anti-bacterial soap and hot water before and after use, and I keep it in a ziploc bag with a good bit of cornstarch to maintain it's smooth texture.
08/11/2009
I agree with the love-hate. The texture makes it worth having one cyberskin in your collection. But it's just not a material worth buying loads of, like pure silicone. I don't need twenty of them, too much of a hassle to take care of them and they still aren't going to keep forever.
I have one, and clean it with toy wipes periodically even if I haven't been using it recently. The material kind of...sweats that greasy ick, and I don't like to let that to build up. Before and after use though, I give it a good wash in warm water and anti-bacterial soap.

I will never get another cyberskin toy again. From washing it to walking to my bedroom, it picked up so much lint that it seemed dirty already. Not worth it.

I actually love cyberskin.
It IS a pain to clean. It IS high maintenance. It IS stinky sometimes. It DOES attract a lot of lint. It isn't the safest material. It tends to get misshapen after awhile.
But while they last? Oh my. A cyberskin dick is the yummy.
I've also noticed that my partner's cyberskin (and comparable material) strokers and whatnot seem to hold up better than the dildos I've purchased. A little odd but, then again, they do feel a little different than the dildos - more fleshy and dense - so I suppose they're made a bit differently.

"A cyberskin dick is the yummy." Agreed. It's the toy I use when I want to really get the sensation of being fucked by the real thing. Again, I don't know what that feels like, but from what I've heard it's pretty damn close. And it just feels so damn good.

I need to try one

Honestly, I love the way cyberskin feels but hate everything else about it. It leaves that oily residue on my hands, it has exceptionally tedious cleaning requirements, it's extemely porous, it smells odd, it dents so easy when laying on anything with a texture or crease and it can get out of this world sticky! I have kids and cyberskin requires more care than they do so I typically pass on it. I much prefer vixskin or O2 and have purchased them to replace cyberskin toys because they're just so much easier for us!

Is SensaFirm pretty much the same? If so then I kind of like it. I have the Tommy Blade dildo and it's a bit too squishy for me, and it doesn't feel real. But it's pretty nice.

Exactly. As nice as the texture is, it isn't worth the effort. I'd rather buy a really nice pure silicone toy.

What a great post!
As a guy, I think that cyberskin makes a brilliant material for a masturbation sleeve - and the care has never really bothered me that much. It is difficult to 'dry' the interior of a sleeve and it's sticky as hell until you pat it down with cornstarch!
But the feeling is so REAL and it's infinitely superior for my needs than anything else. Silicone is just too hard.

Cyberskin is fantastic. It has the best feel of anything I have ever used, at least for me, and my favorite toy at the moment is a cyberskin g-spot dildo/vibrator. I'm on my second one, since the first one only lasted about 6 months, but hey, everything is a trade-off.
And as others have said, don't put it down where there might be dust or something because it will pick it up like a lint remover. I've started wrapping it in a paper towel after washing it and then putting it in my storage box, and that works. Maintenance can definitely be a pain in the ass, but sometimes it's worth it.

Ditto this (without the kids part). We do use a masturbation sleeve that is made of a very similar material, but wouldn't buy an insertable toy made of it. Between the smell, the residue, and the potential for harboring bacterias, it's not something I trust in the cooch.

Only tried one dil. I second the other comments...lint trap, cleaning is a bitch and unlike other toys, I feel I had to take care of the cleaning immediately after using, a mood breaker for me.
Love the feel, it is so real!

My wife and I have two dildos made of cyberskin, but we tend to use condoms on them, even though that kind of defeats the purpose. But whether it's a real stranger's cock or a fake cyberskin disembodied stranger's cock, it'd have latex on it either way, so par for the course, I guess!

But she likes the realistic feeling and 'plushy'ness (great word, Victoria!) Silicone can be a bit hard and unyielding.
And my silicone cunter, which I LOVE, is a SERIOUS lint trap itself! I swear, I could use it on my suits before an interview.
08/12/2009
Another thought. When I got my first and only cyberskin toy which was a hard plastic vibe with a cyberskin sleeve I didn't really think it seemed realistic but it made me want a penis. If I was a man, I'd have a shitload of cyberskin toys no matter the cons. It just seemed to be like it was better for fake pussies and such but I haven't tried a dual density toy either.
08/12/2009
In short, I love it. The effort to keep it clean is worth it for the delicious sensation.

Just wanted to put my 2 cents in on "it isn't the safest material". Actually Cyberskin is latex free, pthalate free, and totally non-toxic. The oily residue is a mineral oil, so yes oily, but not unsafe

I'm not a cyberskin fan, I'm way too lazy to deal with the maintenance - no matter how soft and plushy it may be.
It's got its place, though, clearly!

I've had 1 cyberskin dick, I honestly did like it very much. I never really noticed the cleaning regiment, because I'm strict on all my toys in regards to cleaning.
I also have 1 stroker, which is absolute heaven, the ridges inside are very pleasurable. The only qualms with the strokers is that to get the cornstarch inside is tricky, and i tend to accidentally put too much, so when using it again, if i don't rinse it out before using it I end up having an odd cornstarch/lube creme on my penis.
There is just one cyberskin product that i want sooooo bad. Blake Riley's Ass! But the thing is soooo expensive too :<

I love cyberskin. It is totally worth the effort for me, and well, honestly I kinda expect toys to wear down and break anyways with how I treat them. I mean come on people we are roughly shoving them into a closed orifice repeatedly, squeezing and bending them- with my use, if something last 2 years, for the price of an average cyberskin cock (about $60-70 ) it is so worth it for me, and the texture is DIVINE.
08/25/2009
I do have a cyberskin cock. It feels fabulously plushy. Its a Topco, one of their Wildfire ones, and I wash it in antimicrobial scrub, spray on triclosan, let that sit and then I wash it off. It never collects lint, and feels very realistic. Feels like the real thing. Had to even buy a duplicate of it for a friend.
