Which silicone lubes can be used with Tantus silicone toys?

Contributor: Wild Orchid Wild Orchid
I remember reading that some high quality silicone lubes can be used with silicone toys. I'm looking for a lube to take into the shower stall with my Acute. Is there a Tantus-approved lube list?

Insightful topic debates on Silicone Dildo:

Silicone Densities
As my exploration into sex toys continues, I've noticed that not all silicones are alike.

Is there any kind of rating for density in silicone? Or.

I've never had a silicone dildo before. Are they really as awesome as it seems?

silicone boiling question.

I know its very high grade and nice but is it all the same?

Sticky or smooth silicone?
Do you prefer stickier silicone toys or ones with less drag that are smoother. I just bought some new ones and notices a huge difference in their feel

While I no longer see it on the Tantus website, Eros Original Bodyglide was safe to use with Tantus silicone products (not the O2 silicone) and the website stated it was safe to use.

There are potentially other silicone based lubes that could be used, I'm just not familiar with them. You should always do a spot test first to confirm compatibility.

Great advice. I use silicone lubes myself, but always spot-check. You never know when a lube manufacturer will change formulations.

I agreed with Kindred and Jenna. Always spot-check. We, personally, have used Wet Platinum on our Tantus dildos with no issue though, so you might want to check that one out.

I wasn't aware that any silicone lubes were alright with silicone toys... But personally, I wouldn't want to take the risk, even with spot-checking. ...Maybe I'm just too paranoid.

Ditto that! Silicone toys are too expensive to take chances with! (High end lubes are not very budget-friendly either!) Considering that most info sources say to avoid pairing silicone toys and lube...and unless specifically stated by the manufacturer that it is safe, I wouldn't chance it. I made the mistake, before I knew to avoid it, of using them together...and it basically melted my toy. Granted, it was an average quality - not high end - silicone lube.
