Has Tantus ever considered coming out with a supersoft version of Mikey? The factory "mispours" sold off their website seem to be super popular with those who are lucky enough to snag them.

We have, but we're trying to sort out a specific color. The problem with doing them in the standard Cream/Cocoa/Black color scheme is that in packaging they look exactly the same as the O2 versions, so the potential for mixup is pretty big.
If we could do a single color for all Supersoft toys, that might be easier for retailers. They have been a runaway hit on the Tantus site, so I'm hopeful we can do some to get to the retailers soon.
(And that mispour was a downright true story. Those Mikeys/Marks/Adams were supposed to all be regular O2s. The poor production guy who did it got teased mercilessly for months by the rest of the staff. Sometimes someone will accidentally pour one or two of something, but then figure out that something's wrong. Not Mr. M. He poured like 200 every darned time! I am still trying to sell dozens of Little Flirts in Pink Pearl that he accidentally poured....argh.)

So I take it the white supersoft (that's the outers of the Twilight, Ice, and Candy O2's) isn't very pretty all by itself?

No....it looks pretty boring. The Supersoft strokers are the same stuff, and they look sorta clinical. New colors are hard to add for us, just because the colorants get researched exhaustively to make sure they're nontoxic and safe.

I'd give anything to be able to have a nice bright color, you know? Something fun and vivid.

Old-school Tantus neon colors, anyone?
