Question about the Vamp with the thick base

I have an older version of the Tantus Vamp with the flat base and it is rather firm. I heard from a friend who has the newer version that it is slightly softer/squishier.

Is this at all true? Is the newer version of the vamp softer?

No, it's the same silicone. We did have a couple in Supersoft at one point (only because the new production guy messed up, whoops) but that's a different thing entirely.
