What's in a name?

Contributor: FieryRed FieryRed
I'm curious about the name of the SinFive toy line. I at first assumed it must be named after the fifth of the "seven deadly sins", but the fifth one is sloth. Lust, the one I thought it would be, was listed as the third.

Can someone enlighten me about the meaning of the SinFive name?

Greetings,

I know that you wrote this question back in May. However, it just so happens, by coincidence that I was doing research on toy companies only a few hours earlier. I noticed something, and I doubt it's the answer, but it's an interesting fact.

If you type "Sin Five" into Google, it comes out as Sin(5 radians). The calculator pops up, and it displays the equation: sin(5 radians)= 0.95892427466

I'm totally not a math geek (i'm a geek of a different kind!), so I can't explain anything further. Yet, I figured i'd share this observation.
