zeppelin

Contributor: VanillaFreeSex VanillaFreeSex
I want one instead of a traditional bed. They have two different fabric choices. One is "premium" fabric, which is the category that has the color I want. I emailed them asking for info on the fabric, and if it's possible to get a fabric swatch.

Is anyone familiar with the fabric choices?
anyone have a zeppelin as their bed?
what size did you get?
can you tell I'm excited?

The fabric choices are microfiber and pebble. The microfiber is the same material as the Liberator Shapes, which get softer with each wash. The pebble is a type of microfiber with a subtle texture to it. If you emailed customer service, I'm sure they were able to set you up with some fabric swatches.

I wouldn't recommend the Zeppelin as a bed if you have back problems or any other tendency for pain. The Zeppelin is sooo comfortable (we have the Lounger), and it is perfect for naps--and sex, of course. People have used them as beds, but that was not the intended purpose of the Zeppelin.

My Zeppelin Lounger (in purple microfiber) is 7.5 ft long. My husband is 5'10" and I'm 5'8", and I think the length is perfect for us. The Zeppelin comes in diameters of 7' and 8'. Unless you're really tiny, or your room is small, I would recommend the 8' to make sure you have plenty of room if you're using it as a bed. The heights available are 2' and 3'. Unless you are really tall, I would recommend the 2'. We have the 8' x 3' in our factory store, and even at my height I have to jump onto the Zeppelin to get in the middle of it. Of course, maybe you want to literally jump into bed!

I hope that helps!

Thanks for the detailed reply, Cassandra. I actually never knew the difference between the fabrics, and it's neat that they're so similiar. We do own a Pebble fabric, and it feels really unique, but I'm not sure I'd want to sleep on it. It does seem to be really soft though.

I'm not sure about sleeping on the Zeppelin either. We love our Cocoon, but after sleeping on it for a couple hours, my back is really sore. The boyfriend says it's amazingly comfortable, but it's not a great sleeping idea. It's definitely great for lounging and sex though.

Thanks for the information. Now you have me wanting to get the Lounger.

Update: one of our CSRs just bought the Zeppelin as a bed and she is loving it! She showed me pictures of her room, and it looks really cute in there. So for some people, I guess it does work as a bed!

That's awesome! I think it must be a personal thing because I can't sleep on it, but I know the boyfriend loves it. Thanks for the follow-up!

You can reach customer service by

Email: service@liberator.com
Phone: 1.866.542.7283
or
Live chat

Tell them that you are looking for a few swatches in consideration for purchasing a Zeppelin. They probably can't give you a swatch in every color, but they could probably send you 2 or 3 without problem. If you want, you can CC me on an email to them. I receive emails from pr@liberator.com.

Let me know how it goes!

I sooooooooo want a Zeppelin - the round one and had considered getting rid of my bed for it!
But keeping sheets on that one would be a nightmare unless I made them specially.

But if I ever get a playroom, the round Zeppelin WILL be the main feature in there!
They are expensive over here though - over AU$600 plus over $100 shipping.
But looks so worth it.

I want the Esse BAD! I was prepared to pay up to $500 with shipping. Hell, it costs around $375 depending on the coupon code you use but an additional $322 just to ship it to Alaska. Don't think I will ever get it at that rate.

It'll be worth the wait. Trust me, I speak from experience. I've been at Liberator for a year, and I was salivating over the Zeppelin since I first laid eyes on it. I used to go visit it in the Liberator store and lay on it! haha I was finally able to get a Zeppelin Lounger a few months ago when we moved out of our apartment into a house. It was SOOOO worth it though! We absolutely love it--it's our favorite piece of furniture in the house. Our guests love it too!

For our next house, we're going to have to get the full-size Zeppelin and use it as a bed!

I just got my Zeppelin coccoon. Love it.

Is there a reason that EF only carries some of the liberator products? I was sad to see such a small selection!
