Pricing vs Quality: Worth it?

Contributor: Carol-Lackey Carol-Lackey
So are Lelo products really worth the high price tag? I mean, they have good reviews, but the price tag is so high that it makes me hesitant to shell out the cash for something that might be a huge letdown.

They are high quality, effective toys with a warranty. I'd say that yes, in general, they are worth the price. However, it's well worth reading reviews and asking questions, to be sure that you make the choice that's best for your body and the specific needs you are attempting to fulfill, and sometimes it's better to buy a couple of inexpensive toys to help learn what you like.

In my opinion LELO toys are worth the price. Mona is my go to toy. I love her. I can't wait to introduce Soraya to my collection too. Their warranty is amazing too.

I think so but, as ToyGeek said, be sure to really read up on them and find the design and strength level that will do it for you.

It all depends on how much you think you will use it, since few things are worse than spending more for a toy and then having it sit I'm your drawer. It's best to know about what you are looking for as well as a little bit about the toy. For example, if you love bullets on your clit, but your bullets keep dying, it would probably be a good idea to switch to the high quality Insignia Alia. As others have posted, it's all about reading the reviews and finding a toy that delivers the sensations you're looking for.

I find that in sex toys (as in most things) there's three definite ranges. The cheap toys are almost guaranteed to not work well and be a disappointment long term. The midrange toys have a substantial quality boost, better materials (silicone, glass, metal), better design and construction, etc. They're pretty much always worth it. High-end toys usually do have improved features (though occasionally you have one that's just cachet), but the price usually goes up more than the product is improved.

If you can afford one and choose wisely you're unlikely to regret it, but if you're worried about the cost there are many good toys that aren't quite so expensive.

I am going to go ahead and agree here. We love glass and find that basic glass is just as good and very high end. Same with my vibes.

If ya can afford the price, then DEFINITELY! They are quality and made to last.
I use to go for the cheapest prices on toys I could find. I have been through a number of toys that have been an absolute waste of money and I should have paid more in the first place.
Lelo toys are cheaper than what it will cost me in the long run trying to find a decent cheap priced toy.
I love the higher priced toys - ya certainly do notice a difference!

Yep - I was shocked at the price of the Pure Wand and Stilo (for example), but in use... wow. If you're not ready to ante up for that level there are a bunch of toys that aren't so wow, but are much less expensive and still nicely built.

I am going to say no. And I know this is an older post.

In my opinion, Lelo products are no longer worth the price that they are asking. There are better toys for the same price; better features, better quality, safer, waterproof and they offer the same kind of warranty as Lelo.

If you are interested in Lelo; take a look at Jopen, Je Joue, Leaf and some others out there.

I think they still are worth the money if you can find a model that will work well for your body and will meet your needs and expectations. For this you can look up reviews. But if you think one will be great for you, I wouldn't hesitate. I have 4 LELO toys.

Also if you get them on sale--I found my Elise for $71 on Amazon, with free shipping due to Prime. It was a fantastic deal. Sometimes they're labeled strangely, like as a "personal massager"

I'm up for buying quality. But sometimes the price doesn't match what you get.
