Can Lelo Sensemotion start without vibrating?

Contributor: MrWizard MrWizard
I can't believe this is true. Maybe I just haven't found the right button combination.

The SenseMotion controller turns on by pressing +, but always starts in Sensemotion mode, vibrations on. If the vibrator is vertical, it's at 100% and it's LOUD. Switching to "standard" mode, you still have to hold the button for two seconds while it's vibrating loudly. If the controller turns off (or I turn it down too far) it loses the "don't vibrate" setting.

The big reason for getting a wireless device is so I can use it in places where I need to be subtle. This is a killer.

Is there a way to start the controller without the loud buzzing???

Thanks!

Ok so you can turn off the vibes on the remote off by holding down the center button until the remote stops vibrating. It you can still use the patterns on the vibe. You cannot use the sense motion technology if the remote's vibrations have been switched off. The reason for this is probably because waving your arm around or constantly tilting your writer in public isn't exactly subtle.

The remote will always start with its vibrations on, but you can quickly cycle through to the patterns on low and turn off the remote before increasing the vibrations intensity. I AM speaking from experience, I love this thing and have pretty much don't everything possible. I would love to help you out. Feel free to message me and/or read my review on the LELO Lyla. Seriously, I'd be very happy to help you get the most out of your product!

@wildorchid You're wonderful! Thanks for your help!

Questions:

A) How do I get to the "silent" mode without vibrating or thinking too much, and having it stay that way while the object is resting dormant. I don't mind pre-setting it, but it seems like all of the silent modes insist on constantly doing something. If I push minus a few times until it stops, the thing simply turns off and resets. Which leads to problem B...

B) I need a way to ramp it up from zero/standby. If I turn it on in my pocket (vertical), it goes straight into "high" on the angle-sense mode. And worse, the only "zero" I can find is really off/reset, which goes back to problem A.

It's a vicious cycle! Aaaak!

Thanks again for your help!
