How long does it take for you to receive orders?

Contributor: KnK KnK
Okay,
So, I'm sure that I'm overreacting, but on average, how long does it take for you guys to receive orders from EF?

I ordered on the weekend, and it was shipped out Monday, but the USPS tracking number said it didn't get accepted at Kearny, NJ until 3:30am on Tuesday...and it hasn't updated since.

I'm sure I'm probably wiggin out over nothing, but the fact that the order hasn't updated much is making me crazy. I'm sure that the package has HAD to stop somewhere since 3:30am Tuesday. I'm in the midwest!

My packages take typically 2 days by USPS but has taken as long as 5 days. I usually find that the tracking updates with the NJ site the first day, and not again until after I get the package. My guess is you should receive it in the next day or two.

Just found your question and decided to answer because it is a common one. Unfortunately, USPS does not provide tracking-in-transit. Only when it accepts the package and the second record will be made upon delivery. However, their actual service is good and reliable - you are in a good hands . For Midwest, I would say Thursday-Friday would be the estimated delivery when shipped Monday. Some patience, please.

Depends upon where you are in comparison to the EF warehouse.

I'm in WI. My stuff usually takes 2 days USPS Priority. Occasionally it takes 3 days.

Generally, if stuff is shipped on Monday I have it by Wednesday or Thursday.

Often, USPS doesn't update at all and I have my package before it says it left NJ.

I wouldn't worry. Packages generally arrive within the 2-3 day Priority Mail time frame - USPS just sucks at tracking.

For me its about 5 business days but it has to cross the border.

Of course there is also the times you have problems with UPS like I am having right now with my parcel floating around the city and 2 days of UPS no show. I even had a woman from UPS call me this morning to tell me she confirmed with the driver it was on a truck. Yet, the driver never shower. *grumbles*

I live in MA and I usually get things in 2-3 days with USPS, unless the mail person feels like being difficult and leaves a "we missed you" note so that I have to fill out a signature form online to have it delivered when I'm not here.

Occasionally next day, usually 2-3 days; I'm only a state away from the warehouse, though

About 2-3 days. It's pretty fast actually in comparison to other online companies.

Yeah its 2-3 days here also, can be up to 4-5 depending on what day I order. It helps that I do not live a long ways away from NJ, but then again it seems that some who live further away get their stuff in the same time frame (that is great!)

I'm in Alaska and I get my orders in 4 days if I order Mon-Wed, 5 days if I order Thurs-Fri. Way faster than with most other adult sites; they take 2-5 weeks to ship to AK. CRAZY! That is why I no longer waste my time with them.

I live overseas. My previous order was processed in 2 days and the package was delivered in 19 days by USPS Worldwide. I think it is a reasonable time for international delivery.

I have a similar question, but it's more likely concerned with order processing time. I placed another order last Sunday. Unfortunately, my order wasn't shipped yet, it's still in process. So I'm in doubt, should I wait more or should I send a support ticket? I'm afraid I may not receive the package this year.

Wow. Ok, apparently EF works fast. On average it seems to be 2-3 days even for the peeps who are farther away. Wow. That's pretty damn impressive.

My only concern is that I won't be home when it does arrive. Tomorrow I have tests all day, and my guess is that the not-so-handy delivery man will leave me a "we missed you" message like jobthingy mentioned. My roommates are here at the weirdest hours, and one of them probably won't be awake until 3pm tomorrow. :/

I live in Ontario Canada and I still receive my packages generally on the 3rd day after I have been notified that it has shipped.

Just a quick reminder that Holiday season is in full swing and we should totally expect some delays from all carriers - UPS, USPS and FedEx frequently run behind this time of year!

? This is not true for me. I get updates at various locations with USPS. NJ, Mid state IL, My town, then me. There are usually at least 5 different things on my USPS when it gets to me. Very rarely do I get only the shipped and arrived update. I'm lucky I guess?

UPS gives me even more updates of course.

Non holiday time, I used to get EF packages to IL in 2 days. E.g. order made Monday night, I'd get it by Wednesday or Thurs -lightning! But this has slowed a bit + xmas= delay. It has taken over a week for a few recently. But on average? 5 business days right now.

I remember my first online order. It wasn't on eden and it took TWO WEEKS! Yea...anything is fast next to that now!

HHMMM that is an unusually long time for the process portion. I would, or perhaps Carrie Ann or Fred my venture in to answer that for you.

That's very normal for overseas processing.

Also, just so everyone is aware, orders made with gift cards take longer, in general, to process as those cards all need to be verified.

If you're using gift cards, I don't recommend using overnight shipping. Orders usually won't ship the next day so you might as well save the extra shipping costs.
