Have you ever cheated on Eden?

Meaning, have you ever ordered sex toys from a different adult website?
I get emails all the time from Adan&Eve. I ordered from them once. I'm not going to lie, I have been tempeted too. Only because, they offer 50% discount coupon. I just love Eden, and shes been good to me.
So, how about you?
Have you ever cheated? If so how many times, and how offten?

Helll to the no! I won't patronize A&E because of their advertising policies. I shouldn't have to opt out of graphic, salacious smut being sent to my mailbox once a month for six months until they figure out I'm not ordering again.

When it's something I can't buy here, I'll get it from another site. Otherwise I'll always get it here.

I have not cheated on Eden although there are a few things I wouldn't mind buying at JT's stockroom that EF does not carry. I don't think that's considered cheating. lol.

I've bought a few things elsewhere, but I've always done some research to make sure that I won't be bombarded with stuff I don't want to be, and so far I've had good luck. I buy as many things here as I can though.

The only thing I get from other sites is condoms, which I order off of Amazon. I have looked at other sites, like Adam & Eve, but their navigation, search features, and products just weren't all that great. I was trying to find something to store toys in, but searching "toy storage" or something would just come up with porn on some sites.

Nope, I haven't even been to other site (except researching product info) since I joined Eden!

If I'm impatient I might run off to a "real" store and I'm not opposed to the idea of buying off other sites in theory. However in practice, I'm always HERE on EF forums or sexis or surfing the reviews and checking out products I might want to try... so it isn't practical to go anywhere else.

The largest place I tend to buy toys other than here is from vendors/makers at events and conferences. I plan for a toy shopping budget when I go away to these events. So spending a couple hundred dollars (when I've already spent that on the hotel and conference) seems like part of the event, whereas shopping otherwise is in the entertainment/luxury column of the budget.

The other exception is heavy bdsm supplies which I often buy from kinky medical suppliers or home depot style stores.

I've had to go outside my relationship with Eden to get my needs met---I got the Fun Factory Wave from a little site that still had them because they're discontinued. I got the Xhale Small Moon Plug (which fits me, unlike the one Eden stocks) from a glass specialty site. And I got the Pikilo from the manufacturer, because I thought Eden wasn't going to stock it again. (But then Eden offered it up! I won't have to go outside to meet Wolwin anymore, at least! )

But Eden knows I love her. I'll never stray unless I have to.

I have once. I was able to get the Tantus Rascal for 20 dollars from Tantus. I love EF and I will remain faithful, but won't pass up an amazing deal. The only other time I can see myself buying outside of Eden is if I want something Eden doesn't carry. I really want Love Bunnies because they are super cute, but I'm holding out in the hopes that Eden carries them one day.

Not thus far, but if I come across something I really REALLY want that Eden doesn't carry I won't think twice.

I have not gotten toys from places other than Eden since I became a more active member. Honestly I can't find many other places that have better prices and sales than Eden and no where I have looked seems to have quite the selection. If I wanted something that Eden didn't have available (like Bad Dragon toys which I want badly) then I would go to another site just for that purchase.

I haven't bought toys anywhere else since I started reviewing here. I might if I wanted something Eden doesn't carry, or found an amazing sale, but lately I've only been spending points and giftcards. If I go to other sites I'd have to spend my real money.

If I can get a better price after factoring in shipping and discounts, yes, but not very often. Eden is by far the best for the community, the reviews, the fast shipping, and usually the prices, but it isn't the only reliable online retailer.

I buy quite a few toys from my favorite Etsy sellers (Ttamage for glass and Knotty Wood Arts for Wood).

FunWares often has lower prices than Eden (and their Free Shipping policy covers Canadian orders too). Babeland and Good Vibes both offer an assortment of things that aren't available here, including some excellent educational books & DVDs. (They won't send you any spam, but all three of these use USPS for Canadian shipping... which can take weeks to arrive)

Yes, on occasion. Specifically, we bought a Jopen Vr12 at a local brick and mortar store both because it was $139 versus $232 and because at the time EF did not carry it. Likewise, we recently bought a We-Vibe Salsa online from another reputable online retailer because we could get it for $37.00 versus $79.00. As someone else said, we cannot pass up a great price difference. A few dollars is one thing, but basically 50% is another.

I haven't purchased from anywhere besides Eden. I don't know what to do when I leave tomorrow for Australia though. I can't afford all the shipping and extra charges but I don't want to become an inactive member and not write reviews anymore

I've used Amazon when there's a significant price difference or if it will be easier to be discreet that way. Only for 3 or 4 items, though. I feel that by buying from Eden, I support not only the community but also the exquisite search engine (Seriously, if I ever had to come up with an example of excellent web-store design for a class, I'd pick Eden.)

I've ordered some stuff from Amazon, Drugstore.com and a couple other small boutique stores, but 80-90% of what we have/use is from Eden. Love it!!! I might in a pinch go to my local botiuqe if we wanted/needed something immediately.

I work in a sex shop and I'll occasionally buy something at work but even with my employee discount it's often cheaper to get stuff on here (yay EdenPoints!) and so EF usually gets all my business.

Lol - I like the way you put that title.
Yes, I have cheated when there was a toy I had to have ASAP! But I like shopping here cause the prices are cheaper than in AU.

I hate that they send that crap in a postcard style way...no envelope. I really despise A&E for still spamming my HOME email address after I have repeatedly asked them to take me off their list.

I live in a VERY small town. It is bad enough that the lady who hands me all my packages at the post office totally has a clue as to what Web Merchants is and the kinds of things they sell, but when she hands me my mail and that postcard is on the top of the stack that she slides across the counter, I wonder if she thinks I am the town floozie. LOL

I shop Eden first most of the time.

We occasionally shop at our brick and mortar store for things we need right now. Every now and then they have amazing sales and couple them with a military discount of 20% which can sometimes get me a screamin' deal. Eden does not carry everything (BDSM items are slightly lacking here), so we do look and purchase things we want where we can get them. I do try to suggest Eden carry those items we want and we hold off for as long as we can, but then we break down and buy it where we can for the best deal.

I have been hoping for months and months that Eden would carry the Liberator Esse, and I have to tell you I am so glad they didn't. My husband found a brand new one on Craigslist just this week and I got it for a steal, when I figure how much it costs to ship one to me.

Sometimes it is good to shop around. If you don't, how do you know what else is out there?

A&E is horrible about that! I am still getting unwrapped post cards from them, I've asked them NOT to send things unwrapped (I haven't bought anything from them since months before I joined Eden a year ago) yet I still get these post cards. My eleven year old sometimes gets the mail and those aren't cards I want her to see.

Also, somehow I got conned into some magazine subscriptions from their site (I'm a smart person, I still have no idea how it happened) and I started getting bills for $50.00 MONTHLY. I had to change my credit card number to make it stop, as A&E said it was out of their hands, and the phone number for the "subscription service" is never answered. I'm embarrassed I fell into that. Luckily, the second time they did it (charged me without permission) my credit card company believed me and refunded the money, after they gave me a new credit card number. I'd never give Adam and Eve my credit card number again.

I have the Boss Lady and adore it.

Yes and would continue to if I want a toy that Eden does not carry or if I find the same product (brand etc.) for a lower price elsewhere. I like Eden's community and approach, but when it all boils down I'll go where the products I want are.

There's one toy that I want that I've seen on Adam&Eve and Eden doesn't have it. So when I finally decide to buy it if Eden doesn't have it yet I'll just have to order from them. Other than that, no. I ordered from Adam&Eve once. There's nothing wrong with them, but when I found out how bad jelly is and stumbled onto EF where I could see all the safety ratings I never looked back!
