I love the Fall weather, we tend to do more in the Fall and winter , because the kids don't have as many activities.

it doesn't matter what season it is love to cuddle year round although it is a better excuse to cuddle naked in the winter good old body heat
08/30/2012
I def dont suffer SAD, but i do feel a little down when school restarts for the kids... back to the grind!! And soon SNOW!!! That makes everything better!

Looks like there's a lot of love out there for fall!! It's just such a unique time of year for so many of us. I know a lot of the milestones in my life happened during autumn and there's a lot of fond memories surrounding the season.
And well, of course who can forget Thanksgiving? All that yummy food!
Does anyone put up special decorations for the season or do things with their kids that involve fall leaves and pinecones (just thinking about in school how we made peanut butter feeders for the squirrels and birds)?

I look forward to windy days and cooler temperatures. I don't notice much difference in my mood or sex life at the change of the seasons. There will be a space heater blowing on our naked bodies...
08/30/2012
I personally don't find a change in my sex drive at all thanks to the change of the seasons. Though when the weather turns cooler I generally find myself to be in much better moods consistently than during warmer months. Plus that means it's time for cuddling and hot chocolate!

Winter is nice; you can warm up by using the buddy system

Can't wait for sweatshirt and hoodie weather.

I love the way the air feels in Autumn. It is nice and crisp without being too cold. Perfect weather for hoodies, bonfires, and getting super close under the covers I think I am more adventurous in the fall because my fav holiday is halloween and my birthday is in the season too. Which i also share a b-day with my boyfriend so that makes it extra special. With all those amazing things to celebrate i tend to let my freak come out. I definitely have SAD, however it doenst hit until winter. It makes me want to have sex more to keep my mood nice and cheerful =]
08/30/2012
I can't wait for the cooler days! We like to sit outside and enjoy the night sky, but it has been too hot even at night here. Summer is fun but the South Georgia heat/humidity is awful! We don't have to prepare for winter until January and may not have to do it then.
08/30/2012
I look forward to Autumn because the temperature finally starts to cool down. I live in Florida where it is pretty much always hot. In Autumn we can snuggle more and be more affectionate because we aren't sweating like crazy. My sexual desire is the same all year long: I want it!
08/30/2012
I love fall weather means more cuddling without burning up In Florida though we don't have much of a fall/winter.
08/30/2012
I hate cold weather, luckily it doesn't get to cold in Texas, but the cooler weather does make it more enjoyable to cuddle. Also, cooler weather makes outdoors fun a bit more enjoyable as well.
08/30/2012
As much as I love summer I can't wait for it to cool back down, I love fall so much!

Okay, okay! So we're a little excited to catch a break from the never-ending, record-setting heat waves of the 2012 summer and we're more than ready for it to be fall around here!
Labor Day weekend in the United States marks the turn of the seasons where we start putting away the BBQ equipment, closing down the pools, and preparing ourselves for fall (and Halloween). In some states it also marks the first week back to school for many students.
Is there anything particular about autumn that you look forward to once summer takes its leave; do you start prepping for cold snaps and the oncoming winter? It could be something as simple as making sure you have a reserve of batteries for your favorite toys or stocking up on your favorite soup and stew ingredients.
Do you notice a difference between your sexual desire in the summer versus your sexual desire in the autumn? Maybe you're more adventurous during the summer, slightly more romantic and cuddly during the fall?
Lastly, does anyone here suffer from Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD); if you do, does it affect your sex life in any way? less

I much prefer autumn because I can't stand heat. You can always put on more clothes, but you can rarely take off enough to get cooler...

Autumn is my favorite season, I love watching the leaves change color. The cool weather is great, making it comfortable to go out wearing just a hoodie, but not needing a winter coat yet.
The only thing I do to prepare for the fall and winter season is add a blanket to the backseat of my car, just in case something happens.
I do suffer from SAD a little, but I seem to go out more in the fall than summer due to the mild weather here, so it doesn't hit me until snow falls. Taking vitamin D daily helps me a lot with that during the winter, and I don't really notice any change in sex drive or being more or less cuddly.

I don't notice any real difference. Though I do like that the cooler months make it less sticky and yucky to have sex sometimes During the summer in Arizona, it is not the MOST fun to get sexy with 100+ temperatures outside, hehe!

If it's grey and cloudy for a few days in a row, then I get SAD. But if we have sun, then I'm just fine.
There's no real difference between my spring/summer libido and my winter/fall libido. It's still there, and it's still pretty active. XD
I do enjoy having it nice and cool in the house, though. It's easier to warm up (grab a blanket or a significant other) than it is to cool down (there's only so much clothing you can strip out of to cool down). I don't like the wind on campus (KU) because it's so strong and biting, but I deal with my massive amounts of scarves and hats.

Fall is my fav time of year. sweatshirts and jeans. snuggles. fall food. it's the one time of year that i tend to eat seasonal foods. my SAD doesn't kick in until the snow starts. i try to just roll with what i believe to be natures natural way of preserving energy in the winter, curling up under a blankie with a good book and a hot toddy.
and yes, my sex drive takes a nose dive the colder it gets. as much as i complain about heat, i do want sex more when it's warm

i love the cool evenings and warm days

I haven't really noticed a change in my sexual desire from season to season. But I think I probably feel sexier in the warmer months because I'm not all bundled up in clothes. I don't suffer from SAD

My SO is affected by SAD. It gets to every aspect of his life.

We definitely have sex more during cooler months, it is just too hot in the summer. I'm sweating profusely just sitting here right now and I feel disgusting.
I'm not affected by SAD.

I agree with others, sex seems to happen more in the winter but spicing it up with some leather could definitely help.

I tend to be more fragile during fall and winter, I miss light and I definitely get SAD. My libido stays usually up though, no matter the season, but since fall can be gray at times and winter is so cold, there are more opportunities for cuddling at those times I guess...
