#Infographics - Visualizing Eden By the Numbers!

Contributor: Ansley Ansley
It's always fun to hear about how many people it would take lined up, hand in hand, to circle the globe. Or how many bricks are in the Empire State building (over 10 million!). And there's this scary bit of information: One gallon of used motor oil can ruin approximately one million gallons of fresh water!

But, have you ever wondered how many gallons of lube Eden has sold in a year? Could it be enough to fill up 50 swimming pools? Maybe only enough to be stacked end to end across a football field? What about the number of batteries? Could we light up a structure enough to be seen from space?

Click here: Infographics, to find out the answers!

So, how about those statistics?

I am not a llama llama llama!!! I am a monkey! At least that place mat at the Chinese restaurant said so back in the 80's.

YES!!! I love this!!! I love numbers!! I'd love to see more posts like this about Eden. Heck, I'd even love to see number breakdowns for specific toys as well. But that is me.

Can we get more? Pretty please with coffee on top?

I love this! I'd definitely love to see more of these.

However, I am curious about where the numbers come from exactly. For example, do they also account for free review items and free gift items sent to buyers and contributors? Because I feel like I could cover a basketball court myself with the amount of wet wipes I've gotten in the last year...LOL

Haha. I believe it's based on inventory counts. Regardless if you get an item for free, it's still a unit that's moving across the system and is tracked in various stages. Then you add up the ounces, inches, or air by volume and you can figure the rest out if you have the key numbers.

Annnd...yeah, these numbers are very revealing! For example, there are a lot more llamas on EF than I would have anticipated!

I'd love to know more about the boxes...like how big a building could be "made" out of the boxes that orders are shipped in during a month or so...

I love this information, sure it's not 100% relevant or needed for sales, but it's fun and lube bath yes please!!! I'd try one out just to say I did.

I'd like to know even more details, like the batteries, maybe 3 comparison's on each one. Like for the condom's it would be cool to know how many specifically sold, the helium thing was kind of cool, then maybe throw in some other random thing in there? Or do you think that's too much?

But this was fun to read, 33 baths of lube, holy crap that is a lot. I though't the wet wipes would have been higher for some reason.

I would think some of it would be more. It is hard to think in terms of bath tubs though... how many oz. is that? I love this trivia! I hope it keeps coming!

A standard tub holds 50 gallons of water, there are 128 ounces in a gallon, so the total ounces is 6400. Then it all boils down to how many bottles were sold and how many ounces each bottle held. This probably includes sample packs.
