I have a question about the ceramic toys from Duncan Charles Designs that will be offered on Eden. The product information says that they are "hand-painted" - are the red and black colors a glaze? If the color is not part of the ceramic itself, what materials is it made from?

Hi,
The glaze is part of the ceramic, we hand glaze our toys instead of using a machine as others do. The glaze we use is a lead free, food grade ceramic glaze. Thanks for the question it brought to my attention how "hand-painted" is confusing, I need to rephrase "hand-glazed".
