scented toys

I just bought a Ballsy Supercock Junior and I was surprised at the amount added scent. My living room smelled like pink jelly beans for a day and a half.

How do you decide how much scent to add? Is it different depending on the material used?

I really like the Sexplorer! I just blew mine out and need a new one, but it seems to be discontinued. Will they be back? When? Thanks!

I think all toys should smell like root-beer barrels

I prefer toys that don't have a distinctive scent...too much smell can be kind of a turn-off.

@Boink I totally agree, too much scent is a total turn-off

I also think that someone should come out with a realistic dildo that smells like Old Spice.

They are made from medical grade, platinum cured silicone. They are non porous, can be boiled or top racked in your dishwasher, and have no smell. link

GAG! Most toys which have scent added to them is to cover for latex or vinyl smells and to cover the awful smell of plastic or latex softeners, like phtalates, which are really bad for your body and may be carcinogenic.

A lot of soft Jelly Rubber toys are scented, and IMO, it's best to stay away from them, for good health.

Our first vibe was a realistic phallic vibe, most likely made from old fashioned hot melt vinyl. Did it smell weird. Like a cross between a shower curtain and fake strawberry candy.

I would smell like it for two baths after using it. We only used it a short while and then switched to silicone, which has NO odor, no phtalates (am I spelling this right?) and is very body friendly.

I was kind of expecting it to smell "ballsy" !

I don't mind pleasant scents: baby powder, vanilla, strawberry, jelly beans, etc.. It's the other strong chemical plastic scents I can't stand.
