What is your opinion on Pheromones? Do you think they work? Do you love to see that there are pheromones added to a product? Let us know what you think!!!
To Pheromone or not to Pheromone...that is the question!

Pheromones make boys follow me like lost puppy dogs.

I'm playing with a pheromone product right now, but I'm not sure it's having any effect like I would have thought. This is a case where more testing is in order
02/25/2010
I'm pretty indifferent about them. I have an after-shower oil with pheromones that I sometimes use when I think to, but I've never noticed a difference. The boys love me either way :-P

I think the natural pheromones our bodies produce work very well, but I am highly skeptical of artificially produced chemicals that claim to mimic the effect of them.

Natural pheremones make me want to crawl all over my guys but I've never had much luck with artificial ones. Now one product that always hits me in the solar plexus is Sensuous Massage Oil by Kingman. It has gensing and pheromones and for some reason this stuff puts me in the mood faster than any other product I've tried. It was a real surprise given that it's almost laughably inexpensive!

Well here's my infamous story about pheromones When I did product development at Topco Sales I had to create a Jizz lube for a squirting penis... OH MY! It was supposed to smell and taste like real jizz. We never verified the tasting part (since no one would taste it), but I had 2 final samples and I took them around the office to have people pick their fav. All the boys picked the one in my left hand and all the girls picked the one in my right hand. STRANGE! I asked my chemist what was going on and he said the one in my left was a female pheromone and the one in my right was a male!! So everyone instinctually picked the one they loved. Hope you enjoy my story

I hope you keep adding and announcing new products to your Eden Link, the ones you've got up so far look great!

Nature put in pheromones so we don't sleep with our relatives, simple as that. But suppose you are a gay man attracting straight women ?
02/26/2010
I'm with Laurel. From what I understand, artificial pheromones are a load of bollocks.

I feel that, no matter what affect pheromones may have on those you want to attract, other, more prominent traits, such as social skills, body language, physical attributes, etc., will drown it out. A person could dump a bucket of pheromones over her head, but if she's got the personality of a doorstop, it's not going to increase her appeal by much.

I think there is something to pheromones - those of us who have found our soul-mate are likely the beneficiaries of just such a chemical clue. Since we're already madly in love - artificial stimulants seem necessary.
As others have pointed out, many are not convinced that they work.
By definition pheromones are subtle - it isn't like smelling popcorn or chocolate. I expect that an individual's sensitivity varies - as well as the nature of the clue. If you apply a certain type of pheromone - but your body produces something quite different - what will the effect be?
In my mind it's got to be a trial and error process with no guarantees of results or success.

Doesn't really matter to me, really.

I believe they work, but as a product you buy, I have doubts. It has to be all natural.

I think pheromones are fun, and I've used them-- but I'm not sure how effective they are. I've never really noticed much of a difference.

Rock on

I haven't tried any artificial pheromone products yet, but I am curious! Not sure they would do much better at attracting men than a good push-up bra, though.

I remember trying a product a long time ago that was great, but seemed WAY overpriced for what it was. If it was affordable, I would love it.
01/12/2011
I've never tried them, but in my Drugs&Behaviour psych class last term we studied talked about whether they work or not. There haven't been many studies done, but the ones that were did show an increase in sexual interest and success generally in the group that had their perfume/cologne spiked with pheromones as opposed to the control group who didn't.
I was talking with my prof and mentioned to him that I work in a shop that sells such things, and he wanted to know exactly what was in the ones we had. I listed the ingredients for him and he told me that the pheromones in the products were the same as some of those that did seem to have positive effects in the studies, so hurrah. We carry JO pheromones and another brand I can't recall that Eden doesn't carry.

i've had pheromones work on "some" guys. Most of the time the only thing they do for me is relax me, not "excite" me. I tend to love the fragrances I get ahold of that have pheromones in them, though.

I'm happy with my own pheramones...

I wear them almost all the time.

I dont really care

Don't care.

I got some once as a free sample... apparently they were unscented and needed to be covered up? I didn't really know that, so I ended up smelling like a skunk, and that pretty much turned me off to the idea of them!
